Ya our clan culture is a bit different then most. We think more about what benefits the clan as a whole. Sure 15 people with gloves may help with overall dps but we can kill most of the bosses quite efficiently as it is. Having her in full DG means we can free up another Druid for another group and thus save plat and have more dps on our boss- remember that dead dpsers do 0 damage. Ceinwen has not only earned her set but also she is extremely valuable at every single raid. She is the heart of Ava so to speak.
Yes we have a complex dkp system which is a lot of work for Aileron but it's extremely fair. Individuals in our clan do not stop camping or killing bosses because they received the items they wanted from said particular boss. We don't need to motivate them to log in for gloves, they're happy to log in to better the clan. I can guarantee that not one person in Avalon is sour about it, we just gave our clan a big upgrade.

#32Friddo why boots next? I think it is useful to think about the dg gearing process as an "improvement/pureness" ratio. That would make bp the most efficient piece to get after gloves I believe

#33Is ceinwrn on social security benefit? Lol jkjk. Well, my clan wanted to give me dg bp but I rejected it outright n insisted we give out 4 dg gloves instead to motivate more clannies. It would be selfish of me to take the bp when so many helped to kill gele. It is a gesture of our appreciation to a wider group of people n we don't care so much if the dg gloves make any difference to dps. I am sure ceinwen is most deserving of the set and I am not saying Avalon is wrong. Just sharing different clans have different dynamics that have to be managed differently.And that is the beauty of our clan, honestly none of us care about the gear as long as the person most deservung gets it.
Ceinwen, has 3 end game druid toons and the highest rogue skill hit in game... She logs for more raid bosses than anyone in the clan and as such we are all ecstatic that she gets a set rather than salty butthole we didnt get gloves.

#34I'm honestly not a gen so I can't say, certain classes will be getting different things though, Druids, rogues will prob get set while Rangers will only have gloves helm and bp atm, our warriors are getting no dg and I don't think mages are a priority with this gear eitherFriddo why boots next? #36Thanks for showing us a full dg set, you are right, at least now all questions are answered rather than wait for 3-5 years to complete a set if we (other worlds) continue to give out gloves to all members, then boots, etc.
The difference is avalon is farming gelebron regularly without rage with improving speed per kill. So they dont need more dps, with or without dg set they re still good. While other worlds struggling to kill at rage, and some cant even kill gelebron.

The gearing process it too slow especially considering all the clans that can kill him have an average of 35-50 active players and you can only get one pair of gloves per gele kill, and even more for the rest of the set. #40Not gearing warriors? The DG warrior set is extremely powerful, Id say it is even superior to the ranger one. Rogues got awesome skill boost on theirs so although the magic dmg (which with gele drops will be a common dmg now) it is awesome. Mage?
