All classes can wear dg full set, but with 2.5 months per set or 4-5 sets per year , with a 40 man raid it will take 10 years to gear them all, which is quite impossible that we reach that before we all quit the game. So, if you are to decide, who would you gear for the first year?

Friddo why boots next? I think it is useful to think about the dg gearing process as an "improvement/pureness" ratio. That would make bp the most efficient piece to get after gloves I believe

I'm honestly not a gen so I can't say, certain classes will be getting different things though, Druids, rogues will prob get set while Rangers will only have gloves helm and bp atm, our warriors are getting no dg and I don't think mages are a priority with this gear either

Not gearing warriors? The DG warrior set is extremely powerful, Id say it is even superior to the ranger one. Rogues got awesome skill boost on theirs so although the magic dmg (which with gele drops will be a common dmg now) it is awesome. Mage? Mage instead of always going from occult to EDL, give them DG, thats an awesome boost as well as total of 1600 focus on the whole set.

my server has one high level DPS warrior, he is semi inactive and clanless. Sure DG is good for mages, they just arent a priority for our clan, mostly because we dont have very many mage mains, all are alts of rogues/rangers/druids with DG

From my understanding the Doch Gul was meant as a sort of mix and match armour as it does not break the EDL aura / has no armour.

So you could select certain pieces for your set then if you wanted to create a full set you could, almost like a prestige armour?

I think due to it being the end game boss it was maybe not meant to be completed quickly? But if it is taking too long to complete then maybe the Design Team will have to review it.

Regardless I have passed on all feedback regarding it to the team, team are supper busy at the moment as we get closer to Spring but they may be able to look into it after.

Honestly to even equip clans with it to mix and match will take far too long. I mean waaaaaay too long. And people would like to enjoy the endgame items in full and maybe this could be changed by allowing dg aura with atleast 2 peices instead of full set? But overall it would be much better to have prot drop 4 times the amount of lexicons and gelebron drop 5 pureness per kill and no other lexicon with 4 wearable drops. People have already given up on getting the armour and are very frustrated know how hard they have to work to get it.

I think this idea is great, at least a 10% drop rate at getting a piece of the set from the boss instead of having to wait however long to make the pieces. Or atleast let the pieces be transferable onto the EDL, the dps is great on them but the armour not so much so if the pieces was transferable then it would give us the motivation to want to get the armour and I for one wouldn't mind waiting. We could transfer let's say the gloves, keeping the aura from the EDL and the stats from the EDL and doch gul gloves both together.

Maybe this would work?

Gelebron drops a guaranteed 4 purenesses and 5 class-specifics.
Proteus Prime drops a guaranteed 2 pure, and 3 class.
Proteus Base drops a guaranteed 1 each.
Prime has a 35%-ish spawn chance instead of current 20%.
A full DG set requires 19 purenesses and 15 class. That is, just swap.
All of them still drop the same amount of different types of drops they do.

Since all of them are so old at 1k+ years ( ), they always get a heart attack just as they spawn (impossible but makes it easier to calculate), and Gelebron averages 3 days per spawn, you can get anywhere between 25-100 DG sets a year roughly. An average of 60 sets a year. Reasonable, in my opinion.

(Just a random week-old idea outta my head. With calculations done last week. Never posted it except just now.)

But if there were any they would be geared yes? The post just made it seem that u dont favor dps warriors and think it sucks for mages. Id encourage another warrior to be dps one when u have enough specific class conflux for warriors, or else it would go to waste. I know Id die for a DG set.
