Gear doesnt have to be amazing to achieve high level tanking, lux can cover a lot, and next event's lux will top skain/gara even farther. I should probably buy a neck for my tank.

Im pretty new to tanking, just sharing what i know so far, if ya know better plz say i will defo look into next event ammy now

I dont really have much to say, my tank is not a main and is the 4th tank in clan and still lvl 210. Although 5309 defence (6691 elixired) there are some better than me.

What do you have access to? Edl, or just dl? No chance at getting a mord helm? How much money do you have?

slowly getting edl, very small chance of a mord helm but we are getting close to taking mord and i got plenty of money.

They only get edl if we leave them up the entire day (205 and below), haven't killed hrung ever and have no druids.

For your neck slot get either a stargem vit or wyld vit neck
Wyld vit def braces are very good as well, your other brace would probably have to be an aggy tank brace unless you can buy a def/armor hrung one
Try to find an old garanak ironroot charm, and if you can't there are a variety of def charms almost as good or a high tier silverweb tank charm as a last option (I think there's a lvl 100 lux brooch from a couple years ago that adds 250 def 250 hp and 500 e, pretty solid)
Runic def shield (yellow one) is best
If you have a lot of def gear to begin with find a huntsman ring, otherwise the 15% boost isn't a lot and you're better off with those runic def rings (you probably want 2-4)
Mainhand isn't super important, but since you won't have a mord halberd try to find a shadow+ aggy vit trident or one of those hoard hammers from aggy pit

Void trident of celerity is also good if u dont have much defence gear. Gotta recommend waiting for next event neck before buying a current one, not to mention its cheap (relatively). For rings I prefer emberdrake ones but theres Runic Alchemy (400 defence + 400 evasions) and Runic Celerity (100 dex, 400 defence, 600 energy which is like 600 defence). Huntsman is good but with 5309 defence on my tank it is still inferior on elix (it is definitely superior out of elix tho).
Braces... There arent many amazing ones, there are tank ones from aggy (75 vit, 250 melee combat, +5 stance) or stargem vit (100 vit 500 health, good hp bonus) or the best lux one would be the wyldshrine one (100 vit, 500 defence, 300 health which I wish I had bought, or inferior one is the focus, 100 focus, 500 defence, 300 energy), but best are hrung braces.
Charm, preferably old ironroot or something similar (for example, skain frostroot, 145 dex 250 defence).
Offhand should be dl shield on chaos mobs due chaos resist IMO, and runic endurance shield on non chaos mobs, but some might argue. I use dl shield.
