[Offhand] Axe vs Haste Hagger

#1
What is your opinion on which is better, people keep talking about how the pierce damage is better but I am unsure, also keep 150 offhand & wait till 200 or buy the lvl 180 one, suggestions & opinions appreciated

Depends on boss... but dagger for rogues, axe for warriors and no need to buy the lvl 180 one. You can also replace your haste ring with a runic strength or blood ring from necro which gets you more attack if you use dagger and since dex is useless for warriors they use axes.

Haste daggers are getting quite a following from DPS warriors in epona... Since Str affects the pierce on spite dagger. I'd still prefer axe, though

Actually a spite dagger is even better on a dps warrior because the pierce damage boosts frenzy. Also spite added more damage than the axe so not entirely sure where you heard that

how is it that pierce makes frenzy better?

Frenzy is boosted by weapon damage. Pierce slash and crush. Runic spite adds 40 pierce which boosts frenzy

Ou boy am I late to this Thread  I never go on the Class Based Forums.

Personally I prefer the Offhand Dagger over the Axe. It adds Haste, Pierce damage, and Attack. Even though Axes give you Strength they are Slashing Damage (I believe..?) and during a Boss Fight with Lure of Assassins active you'll want to take advantage of that as much as possible.

Also, having an offhand which provides haste allows you to free up a Ring slot, allowing you to equip a Ring that boosts Skills, Stats, or Abilities (or all three!) and that's a good trade off imo.

Last but not least, I enjoy an Offhand dagger for my Rogue because he's a ROGUE and I want him to look like one! Rogues shouldn't use axes!

Hope this helps :)
Would you kindly?
