The way around spending lots of plat is to create multiple characters. You have one per account and load up on devices.

For example I now have 17 devices and this has let me level 8 toons to 165 using zero pots zero Lix and only a very few idols. I half afk them and if anyone dies I use spring to life instead of idols. I have multiple toons of each class so I never rebirth or alt. I have another batch of 6 rogues all 139 and climbing, again zero Lix pots or idols as I have tag along Druids.

You do have to spend some plat, direct or indirect, but I use the gold I save buying Lix and pots to buy sigils, Lux, etc.

Locking bosses you will still have to compete with plat buyers but it's easy to beat rage when everyone has many toons. My goal is to be able to solo the 215 6s edl by New Years.

Unlike plat if you tire of ch you can play other games on them (very popular in clash of clans) or even sell them on eBay to get most of your money back (Apple devices have excellent resale value, even if broken)

I've spent so little on plat I actually feel guilty and will be supporting OTM again next double plat event.

How do you afk without it timing out on you? Do you actually touch the screen every 4 min or so to get around this? Also most toons will just get killed somewhat quickly if they are auto attacking and not using skills. I've always wondered how people have been able to level toons afk. Unless of course they script out progressions...

I don't afk, just partly afk. You time out after 10 minutes but it only requires touching the screen once. I usually time it about 9 minutes. Fun fact, CH used to have no timer and people would stay logged for days so this is actually a traditional way to play.

You can set a timer but I have a fairly good idea of the time without one. I've cooked, done chores around the house, watched tv, showered, even mowed the lawn while playing. The majority of the time I look in every couple of minutes and am not away the full 10.

Since I'm on a lot I will usually log or move if people want to Lix where I am. About the only exception is scammers, people who ks Lix of others and high levels wanting to just farm mobs where I am who were not there first.

What about using alts? Can one make money that way? I'm not going to buy another device just to play a silly game, but need help making gold. I did buy plat for the sale but refuse to buy again until their next double plat sale at holiday time.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but to me alt are more money consuming rather than a way to make money, equipping 1 toon is costly, more is... Crazy ha:) even if u can get all ur gear by yourself as your main is higher level, lux cost a ton:)
That's true!
This is very true. However if you are able to hit critical mass with about 3-4 dps and can half afk train this becomes much cheaper. If you can get high enough you can afk in gold mini boss rooms in carro which are quite profitable and the toons can actually pay for themselves. Before then you will need to sink some gold in but can get some back by selling your used gear.

The more the better, having 6 rogues actually levels pretty fast. The best combination would be all warriors which I may do next.

This is just not in any way, shape, or form, doable for an adult with a job, family and responsibilities. I'm assuming you are a kid?

Nope. I'm an adult with a family and all that. This is a much easier way to play.

The setup of the toons takes work yes, a fair bit. But after you get your devices and toons ready (I have a dedicated table in a room) you only need to log, group up, and then tap the screen once every ten minutes. This is about 1min of work every hour and I'll often make the kids dinner or read them books while the game is playing.

In response to Plus' response to my response to him waaaaaaaay back there-

I live in the Philippines, and while the internet Can be good the provider and area I am in is not.

When I am playing the game while the rest of the family is on the wifi as well I will disconnect or not be able to log in at all. If this game is around when I'll be on my own, and have the time to play a few hours a day, then I will test out boxing.

For now though I'm a bit more of a casual player, I just have one toon I'm focusing on and it may stay that way, but I do plan on levelling my Warrior again when my Rogue reaches 215 :)

Thanks for the advice! I play on a pre-owned 5c because I like iOS servers (since they were my home) so if I buy more devices I'll probably invest in a used whatever the last gen iOS device would be. Cheaper and usually still runs well, especially if devoted to the game.
Would you kindly?
