Once again you mistook communism for socialism, socialism is as pigman put it, everyone is treated equally and effort = reward. Capitalism is to quote animal farm "all animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others". Meaning the rich and influential are placed before hard workers. E.G bribes being offered to chieftain for gear and the chieftain gearing him/her self and other generals/guards before clansmen

A plutocracy is essentially what America has become, the gloves came off with unlimited corporate donations and treating companies as if they had the same or more rights than a citizen. Not to mention the erosion of hard won freedoms through fear of nearly irrelevant risks. It's actually becoming more of a police state and facist every day.

Pretty much across the board - infant mortality, literacy, income, lifespan, health, you name it socialism is better for the population. America looks like the best place when you don't study history or examine the rest of the world. Hard work is rewarded, you just can't walk all over poor people or never be held accountable just because you are rich.

So back to the topic at hand, a democratic socialism is probably the best way to run a clan too.

A socialist clan that equally rewards everyone regardless of their effort will fail. That's like giving someone free money thinking it will cause them to want to work harder. The people that work really hard will stop working hard because they aren't getting rewarded for their efforts and the people that don't work hard in the first place work even less because they are rewarded more then their efforts. So everyone works less and less is produced and nobody's happy. Sad thing is people actually want the USA to be this way.

There are several socialist countries in the EU, it does work.

Just shows your a characteristic ignorant American, id take a wild guess and say you voted for Cruz or Trump due to your limited beliefs about the world, not everything is black and white and the socialist countries around the world thrive much more than others, look at Finland or Denmark and do some research literacy rate in Finland is 99-100%, americas literacy rate is around the 80% mark which is around 60 Million people for a country of 300 million due to unaffordable education and high unemployment rate with little government benefits.

What socialist country's are thriving? Name one of them. I'm not "ignorant" I actually study my history. When the colony's were first established here they setup a socialist system. A settler that worked hard got the same amount of food at the end of the day as those that didn't work at all and guess what happened? They starved and failed.

A free market capitalist society thrives because you get what you work for therefore everyone works hard which produces more taxes. That's why socialism is a recipe for death. Take from those that earn it and they won't want to earn it anymore and give it to those that don't work as hard and they work less which produces no work which means less resources which hurts everyone. Once the country realizes that it becomes fully communist and has no resources it takes the freedom from the people and forces them to all work for a flat low wage. Then nobody's happy. Show me any other country called "the land of opertunity"?

America changed the world with its free market. Yes I was going to vote for Cruz because I have to pick the best of the worst. Hillary is a horrible woman who has betray this country and Bernie sanders is a complete idiot who thinks he can buy anything with rainbows and unicorns.

Americas education is horrible these days I agree with that. It's been diluted and watered down. That's why my parents sent me to a private academy. People like to throw around the word "ignorant" thinking it makes them sound smart.

America became the greatest and wealthiest country on earth benefitting the world with its free market and capitalist system. We are now failing because current horrible leaders are trying to make it socialist! George Washington and Ben Franklin warned us against it and Franklin even talked about it in "Poor Richards Almanac". It saddens me to know so many of young adults my age are supporting an open socialist. It shows how horribly uneducated the system is. On top of that people vote for Hillary just because she is a woman. What she did with her emails and letting those soldiers in Benghazi die for her personal gains is evil. She is under criminal investigation and somehow is still allowed to run for president.
I don't want Trump either but I'd vote for him any day over the other two. They are all untrustworthy. America is not in a good place right now and Obama has buried us in debt and ruined the health care system. If China calls in its debt we are screwed. The only reason they haven't is they rely on our econemy. Europe is trying to make the world currency in euros which would crush us. Nobody would accept American money because it is inflated and is not backed by anything. The world is very fragile right now and people are worried about transgender people going into bathrooms at target!

I care about my country and I'm not going to just sit on my butt and not know what's going on in the world or be a "useful idiot" Manipulated by feelings and easily swayed by politicians. I am a conservative American and I will cling to my guns and bible because they got America this far.
