Hi I was just wondering what classes you guys are and why you picked them.

I am a rogue. Why I picked rogue class is because when I started, it was the least popular class so I thought I would get drops easier. Now I realised how bad that mistake is. Every good rogue drop from endgame boss will wipe your dkp. And rogue is now a lost class. It is neither here nor there. Now ice mage is all the rage. Nobody cares about rogue anymore. OTM needs to wake up to this and address it.

Well for you you've settled on because you can't get the kill over rogues or Rangers on some bosses, it's crap. However there are a lot of players that are just fine with not getting a kill but play the class because they enjoy the class.

I wish they'd do away with who got kill and instead it would give a breakdown of who did what percentage of dmg.

Im a rogue, started out as a mage and got sick of dieing solo lvling (odd timezone hard to get lvling partners)
Decided to try a rogue after about lvl 60 mage.
I frequently try for caster classes in mmos and am disappointed that developers connect mage/wizard etc classes with delicate scholarly types rather than a hard n ornery battle mage like i want them to be.
Anyways i went rogue and loved it. Fun to solo lvl. Challenging but rewarding. Currently lvl 223 rogue
I have since gone back and started leveling a mage for an alt which is much more enjoyable going into with the experience i gained playing rogue and being able to gear the mage to the point where it feels a bit more like a battlemage shield offhand for the win xD

And as for getting the kill... Frequently that honor goes to someones alt when they are duel devicing. Cos they are on the boss full time, due to the difficulty of targeting adds when multidevicing.
Getting the kill doesnt always mean you are OP. Sometimes it means your just not on ADDS
