Why doesn't OTM just remove the animations? Obvisiously none likes them.
We didn't have these issues until the animation hell from the Ostara update. Some of us asked over and over to just leave animations the way they were before the update. Particularly rangers asked this, in part for this very reason.

So I'll ask again, could you please put ranger animations back to what they were before the Ostara update? The only good animation now anyway is pulling the arrow from our backs, and since quivers don't show anyway even that looks silly. All the rest of that jumping around, up and down repeatedly, and stomping nonsense is unrealistic, annoying and causes casting problems.

The best part is that everyone experiences the same delay, so if you're being outlocked by another group, animations aren't your problem, it's your gear/build as a collective.
This would be true if the two groups had identical classes however a rogue with his true instacast skills vs a ranger who has this animation problem is a different story. This issue is mainly on 4* edl spawns

Both are instacast, the difference being you see the Rogues happening quicker animation wise.

Server does not see this as all it receives is: Skill Cast - Damage

Both are instacast, the difference being you see the Rogues happening quicker animation wise.

Why do you keep skipping the part where you cant cast another skill until the animation finishes?

I'm not, if you would like me to go into further detail I can do.

In the case of Sharpshot your next skill will charge the second the arrow leaves the bow and has a minimal timed animation.

The skill is still insta cast but there may be a slight minimal delay in casting your next skill I guess if you were to compare it to Rogues instacast chaining.

But the original topic was more on the discussion of skills interrupting autos which they do not as you auto through them hence why I did not discuss animation ending timing.
