Since we already have horses and other animal mounts could it be taken a step further? How about Celtic chariots? We have seen sleds in the past so it sure seems possible. Chariots could even be a multi-person mount carrying 2-3 people. There are some options to implementing this:
-First the chariot could be a mount in and of itself (just the chariot) similar to the Christmas sled.
- Secondly the chariot could be paired with another mount such as a horse or boar so that it appears the animal is pulling the chariot. This could be done if a single player has both the chariot and animal mount, or perhaps if player #1 has the chariot and player #2 has the animal mount making the combination a multiplayer mount. A third player with an animal mount could turn it into a chariot pulled by two animals. The overall combination would take the speed/stats of the slowest mount in the combo. The driver would be the player owning the chariot itself.
-Lastly a chariot with animal as a single unit could be a mount.
If chariots could be added to the game it would also open the door to wagons.
