Ok since playing this game Which has been a short amount of time, I've spoken to many players who use shared accounts! Why is it that OTM bans players for using another account if it has been authorized by the original owner, it makes no sense! Why is it many players get away with it? But if someone finds out who doesn't like that person and tells on them the account is banned? I could see if the person has sold the account for actual money, but if someone trades accounts for let's say you can have my account here for yours there, thats not selling that's just trading no different than an original player on that toon! Or if your friend takes a break and let's you use his account why is that such a big deal? Many games allow this! OTM please explain

These are great points but they will tell u some bs about they want to keep your account safe and this is so they can track it blah blah blah. I believe people should be allowed to do what they want with there own account, sell share trade whatever. If we're willing to take the risk of account sharing then that's on our heads, I'd like total control over my own account.

The only reason they should ban an account is if it has been sold for real money, not because I say hey I'll give you my account for your account, it's no different than trust trades for gold or whatever, your not losing money! Your losing players! Funny though there's a lot of high level good spending players that I know and (have screen shots of account trading) but my friend leaves and you ban his account for letting a friend use but won't look into any others! But you ban him because a player gets jealous he can dual log another toon to help against bosses against a rival clan and u can ban him after he spent well over $3000 dollars, what does that say about OTM! He didn't sell his account! You guys can honestly disrespect a customer that easily after all the time and money spent because he wants a break an allows a buddy to use his toon?

Selling or trading accounts on morrigan is a horrible idea. You will never be accepted into a good clan and why would you want to use someone else's work? I take pride in the fact that I built my account from the ground up and it has history only I know and appreciate.

It makes dealing with scams a nightmare for OTM. At least Id imagine thats one of the reasons.

I say the moment an account (if not a clan bank) is shared with another being, it should be banned, final

I trust that the one I speak with, is the one I spoke with yesterday. I trust that that account will be played by the same person tomorrow.
I trust that, If I chose to leave the game, and return a year later, that toon I spoke with will be the same

There are grey zones here offcourse, kids logging in to your account by mistake -_- and letting a friend TEST the game. But crap. I trust you to be you, and not perhaps someone else tomorrow

Account sharing, to me, is INSTA BAN

My rule of thumb is I don't even trust my own momma with borrowing items so it's not a trust issue as I don't loan anything. That being said, you never really know who is on the other side of the screen. Who cares who is logging powerrogue2k16 (enter toon name of your choice)

The main reason is trading accounts for real money. This is a violation of apples developer policy and can result in a ban of OTM from Apple/iTunes and a remote wipe of all games off all idevices, without user consent. OTM needs to at least look like they crack down on it.

The trading for in game items and multiple account sharing seems to be a thing with nearly all mmos. People think it's not fair to have people power level and play accounts 24/7/365. Other larger games have whole mini industries built around this, often resulting in bans as regular players cannot compete and it tends to ruin the fun.

I can't imagine being in a clan where I don't trust them with my items. Why tf you there then?

If you're scared of being scammed by your own clan mates, either you're too paranoid in a damn game, or you should just leave.
