What I have found it happens a lot in servers that have more dominant clans. Where big clans don't wana help anyone but clannies

This is somewhat true.

Most dominant clans only focus on catering their own clannies and it's understandable.

You have 1 small car with no extra seats, and have to drive your daughter to school, while on the way there's a random person walking across the street looking for a lift. More than often you will drive by that random person because hopefully you consider your daughter as priority.

Generally, if you ask politely, don't spam the person, they will help you when they're free. They will most likely be busy if it's an active server with lock battle clans. Those lock battles can sometimes take toll on clannies and act as a drug.

That's an awful analogy, in that case you are literally unable to pick anyone else up, whereas in game you can help others out at the same time but choose not to.

I'm more worried about the people in my clan than anyone outside it, they come first for me which is what the analogy is trying to point out. While I still help people outside my clan I have enough time to and don't mind it, not everyone has the same amount of free time and what time they do have I'm sure they would rather spend helping a priority.

It's true some people choose not to but any time you spend on doing one thing is time taken from something else you could be doing.

You could be spending time with your family and friends instead of playing a game, instead you do both.

Same way you can help clannies and others who could use it as well.

I do try to answer questions most of the time as I got ignored alot when I was a newbie and I think they do deserve an answer. But sometimes the questions are really stupid and the answer is way too obvious or they keep on asking things which I already told them. Also I don't have 24/7 to respond and I'm not an information desk for (stupid) questions.

In general I ignore most random messages sent to me or I give one line responses. I am not a mean or a discouraging player.

What most of the low levels I have had discussions with are unaware of is that we have many priorities pulling at us different directions in the game.

I tend to be fairly good helping out noobs, I don't mind sharing loot unless it violates server agreed on rules. I only group people of reasonable level though.

Many requests are extremely self centered such as "hey can you power level me for a few levels" or "can I have some of your lux? You look rich". It's much better to be patiently waiting at a boss and ask to be grouped, or of appropriate level and ask for a leveling partner or ask the best way to farm/buy equipment than give a typical gimme request.

I spend a large amount of time in castle, and haven't really found anyone block worthy yet.... If someone's being annoying or just plain weird, I'll try to think of a funny response. If they're begging, I'll either politely say no or ignore them if they're starting to spam me, but that rarely happens. Idk what other servers castles are like or how lower lvls treat endgame players, but it's a generally nice environment in epona.

Thats the thing, there is actually always something to do, just depends if you're feeling productive or not. Like you can always keep leveling, or farming for gold. That is one thing that never ends.
