When will you stop to bother Muldar and devs about pets?
No one forced you to buy one, I'm a end game ranger and I have no problem with having none. I checked the token prices and realized that it wouldn't cost the grind.
Nevertheless, I would enjoy to see more of this implemented so I was waiting one with good stats for my class for a good investment.

By the way, are you going to sue Apple for making new Iphone that are better than the older generations. This is a non sence in term of marketing, things have always been like this.

I guess then you'd be ok with buying an iPhone and then realizing a better model will be offered every 3 months. However, you couldn't sell your old iPhone to get any money back from it and you had to pay full price out of pocket everytime you wanted to upgrade.

First, your point ad hominem is quite off topic and had for only goal to strike my reasoning.
Ranger class is a part of the game and has nothing to do with a bonus for plat buyers.
I dont like making this kind of coward comments but I want you to say that you have never complained about druid class too.
Classes are a full vital part of this game and we are asking for some changes, this is far more important than an extra slot that didnt existed yersteday.

Pets are an opportunity for OTM to sell more chests and have more income. I want to congratz them for it because they created a brand new source of desir coming from the player, way more important than fashion and mounts combined. This is a perfect example of " reverse flow " studied by J-K Galbraith. By the way, this example is about suing Apple and not OTM, thanks for making it wrong again.

Anyone who used more than 3 pet tokens is pretty ****** off. They are extremely expensive, no trade and not able to be sold back even at a loss for the newer presumably better ones being released soon.

New players find them just as expensive and many don't even have a singe low tier one yet.

I'm pretty sure OTM has seen this, which is why they are changing the bounty system. Making pets able to be sold back for pet coins, even if there is some loss, or making them tradable would fix much of the negative views. The need to spend hundreds of hours with each new pet to make the skill useful isn't making anyone happy either.

OTM is a company that provides a service and when they do it in a way that provides a negative experience for a majority of thier paying customers then it means the game is headed toward bankruptcy, layoff of all employees, selling off any tangible assets, and shutdown of all servers. When the majority are having a good experience and continue to pay and feel good about it is when we all get to continue to play and new content added. People should thank every player who spends large amounts of money as they are paying for those who play and don't pay at all.

I'll take the master of rhetoric as a compliment and say thanks. I think you missed the point of my ranger comment though. You came in and complained about us complaining...said we were crying. So I assumed you had never made a post criticizing OTM about something. Lo and behold, you had. So it seems strange to me that you want to criticize others for complaining when you have done the same thing.

Just because a player has a complaint that we don't agree with or doesn't apply to us doesn't mean it's not a legitimate complaint based on their experience. Anyway, this banter is way off topic and I'll bow out to stop derailing.

I think what he meant is that complaining about pets and rangers are 2 things that are pretty different. Ranger is a core idea of the game. What would Celtic heroes be without different classes. Whilst pets is something that is an addition to the player experience. When thinking about it it's pretty obvious that OTM would implement better pets just like they implement better drops. It's necessary for the game to progress and for players to have something to look forward to.

As for phones and apple, a lot of people don't upgrade their phone as soon as a new model comes out simply because they don't have the funds. Many players were using iPhone 4's and some still are. In a sense it's the same with pets. The people that can afford to constantly upgrade will do so, whilst others will save up money until they can afford what they want.

Phones and pets really are not the same.

The best Phones are cheaper than the best pets for one. A flagship overpriced best memory option iPhone 6s+ costs about 1000 usd while a maxed out top tier pet costs an average of 2400 usd if you buy plat and open the chests yourself.

You own an iPhone whereas OTM owns the pet as well as all content.

You don't need to max a new skill to use a new iPhone. The iOS is the same yet with pets you need to spend 100s of hours learning the ability to make the new pet useful.

iPhones are not bound to a single person/player. If you tire of your iPhone 6s+ when the 7 comes out, you can't stand the 3.5mm headphone jack and love all music to be under DRM, you can probably sell that 1000 usd phone for around 750-800 usd if you have kept it in great condition. Pets cost more and you are totally boned when the new model comes out.

Agreed. I think pets should be tradeable, or at least sellable for half price. Switching between pets, idk about that one. That's like getting every per for the price of one which sounds pretty selfish to me. Pick one that suits you best and stick to it. All pet abilities should be shared, so there's only a pet skill and not bunny/dog.
