Posting just to clear up some misconceptions of the items database on celticheroes.net.
First, I am the one who created and maintains that website. A big thank you to the whole community for your support over the years.
Second, the database truly is a database. When we play Celtic Heroes the game references many game files on our devices, one of those game files is an items file. All item stats and information is in this file. That is the simple explanation of what the items database is. It uses the same information that our game uses when we play.
There are many items in this file which do not make the "live" game. An example is "abyssal" weapons. Never implemented in game BUT it is in game. There is screenshots of an admin with an abyssal bow equipped. So technically the items do exist lol.
These items are test / beta items that were not cleaned up from the game files. No big deal, many of the items are broken and / or do not make sense. It was OTMs decision to not include them in live game, it is their game. It is not constructive to rant at otm for not making a beta item live.
Be constructive, point to one of the beta items, and list out why it would be good to have it in the game now. Some of these items really do have some good ideas. I encourage everyone to use the database as a stepping board to begin conversations.
Good Hunting!
