Occult is nice to mix and match for some casters and lock rogues staying at 190 but for most mains it is really just an alternative if not in a clan able to get dl/edl armor. But it is odd how the boots and gloves are harder to get than the chest...

I never use edl armor even though I have it on both my casters. Only time I wear edl is if the chaos aoe is terrible and unavoidable. My dps on Mage and hps on my Druid is around 30% higher than in that junk edl. My Druid is considered my main but in reality my Mage is geared better than many mains.

I have never had the patience to farm vials. I asked a rogue to farm some for me and he got several an hour.
