Re: 1 week? 2 weeks? soon?

Muldar mentioned before there are different teams, the design team designs boss drops and other things and the art team designs areas, even if it isn't needed changing the look of areas do no harm
That's what they keep saying but do you honestly believe it was only the Art Team that was involved in Stonevale revamp? New quests, new quest items, new loot, new mob skills/attacks all were done by their design and programming teams so you can't tell me that only the Art Team spent some time on it.

Hopefully all the changes will stop worlds from hemorrhaging new players. Because right now it's looking like one of those southern gated communities that are just a bunch of old people sayin you kids get off my lawn!!!
Some Old-farts aren't as kind as others

One of the big things I've always wanted was a castle makeover (which I was scoffed at whenever I asked for it in F&S.)
It's a silly thing but I'm glad it got done. No other reason than my simple want.

I'm all for adding new areas and/or revamping old ones. AS LONG AS there is also more places to level. Especially the 100-150 levels, those are a pain in the ass because you pretty much LIVE in Carrow.
so you can't tell me that only the Art Team spent some time on it.
Maybe they added the new quests and stuff, but did it artfully ? ;)
Would you kindly?

Well they had to create new mobs for the questline so yes the art team did work on it.
I think you misunderstood what I was saying as a response to Rogue4Life. Read again.

Ah my bad but I see it as an agreement to your statement in a way too.

(I wrote this last night but decided to not post it)

Just to clarify some points:

As Guthix brought up in his post, creating an entire new zone with quests / mobs is a far larger task from a design standpoint as opposed to revamping an area.

While aesthetically Stonevale has changed massively, in my opinion for the better, much of Stonevale design wise is the same as it always was.

The additional quest lines in Stonevale were already planned and have continued on as seen in the Fishing Update with Shalemont and Otherworld questlines.

Most of the mobs on the back end are similar but with minor changes in terms of skills.

The expansion of the zone simply allowed design more leeway in creating additional quest lines. To help heroes in their progression through Celtic Heroes and rejuvenated a zone that in my opinion was lacking graphically in comparison to the rest of the game.

Right, but don't say it was "only the Art Team". Many others spent time on creating the new NPCs, the new mob attacks/skills, quest items, quest dialogues etc. etc. It may have been easier to revamp Stonevale than creating a whole new zone, but it still took time away from other issues that could've been a higher priority for the design/programming team.

The art area overhauls were created by the art team so did not require much Design time (Mainly mob positioning and pathing) rest assured this did not affect Designs work and they are currently working on new game content.
I believe was all I have said previously on the topic of area redesigns.

As I mentioned in my post the additional quest lines in Stonevale were already planned and most of the mobs on the back end are similar but with minor changes in terms of skills.

Not here to defend the team just explaining the process behind it, if you wish to discuss further you can PM me.
