If bosses where placed in instances and the timers where placed on the players themselves then we could eliminate camping altogether. If players knew they could fight a particular boss once every 36 hours guaranteed then they would only have to coordinate a meeting time with their clan to do it. No useless camping, no fighting for target lock, no clan left behind.

I camp raid bosses all the time. Sulis is just like Morrigan. I still think this is a good change.
Yeah well, I guess we can agree to disagree. There is absolutely no change. In my view, players are still camping half the time.
with less breaks in between bosses, less time to do bounties/fishing, less time to xp grind alts, less time to do future horizontal content.
If anything, it's a negative change.

Also if you have a clan of 50 people vast majority of the time only the same 3-5 people camp them. The timers should come down a bit. Maybe 48-72 hours. Give it one day every couple of days. I'd ask for it to be two hours, which would be lovely, but even otm wouldn't do this. And most of these raids like hrung and necro are insanely out of date when most prot and gele drops are way better.

Btw, when are servers coming up? Announce please.

We can't have everything at once. One tiny step at a time. I'm personally happy otm reduced windows as well as boosted drop rates along with removing bw mord braces.

lmao, we don't win everything. Our server has heavy competition with 3 end game clans. But it's not about winning everything.

Bottom line - camping sucks, and I don't like that our members are subjected to 36-48 hours camping and make them quit the game. Sorry you can't understand my position and why I'm very much against long camping times.

And thus I have 22 devices (23 by Friday hopefully) and just leveled and decked out my new group of 8 lvl180s. I should be able to be nearly everyplace at once!

In my opinion, the decrease in spawn times is a good thing, however I am not really an eg camper myself so I cannot impose my opinion on any others here :), I just wanted to list all the benefits and disadvantages of this update to make things easier for everyone

Benefits:
-Increase in opportunity to gain DKP (for clans which use that system)
-Overall increase in boss drops and therefore eg drop utilizations.
- More chances for high tier drops (in addition to the increase drop rate of higher tier drops)
- Easier to get back timer once lost, as it takes longer to kill.
- Lower need for a large number of people camping same boss one after the other

Disadvantages:
- You have to camp more regularly
- As aileron said less opportunities to grind level alts
- Easier for comp to get back timer if your clan killed
- Overall makes eg bosses more mundane and boring because they occur more regularly and aren't anything special
