Camping clans

On my server, Fingal, we have one huge clan, full of arrogant, selfish persons, who totally dominate in particular, Regulus quest nodes. I and others -cannot get past Swamplord as when this boss or a Minion are about to respawn, they are there in huge numbers. I can understand not wanting to share Swamplord itself, but if a Minion appears, they kill that too. Would it be too difficult to increase the respawn rate of Swamplord and others Minions and also make them respawn away from where the main boss spawns? I spoke to one of these charming people and his response was to use my mom's credit apple lol, buy maybe that is the bottom line to this game, make us poor slobs use our own money to progress. I don't expect any help, just more trolling and deletion of this post as has happened before.

I think if the bosses or subs spawned faster the clans would only camp and kill more often. Nothing will change until OTM places bosses in instances.

Switch servers, only advice I can give ya. That or join them if you're having issues progressing

That quest is useless besides that you get a bit of exp and a charm until around level 170. I say to not worry about it, until maybe a bit higher level.

So whats the point of clans then? Anyway, as I said, spawn the minions randomly elsewhere.
The point of clans is that u can get a good group of ppl to fight and win locks and kill those bosses... that's the only beauty abt this game, you can only go so far solo n using ur moms credit apple as per that other player...
at endgame you can have gear nearly as good as the raid drops from shop but those are not enuf

Says the clan that does the exact same as described by OP on Donn.

The point being not everyone has the time for raids, gold bought armour exists for more casual players, it's not as good as raid but that's fine.

I totally agree with OP, as it stands, it's nearly impossible for anyone not in the 24/7 lock clans to level past 180ish, due to the tower quest. Where is the problem with giving a rare drop or non-frozen kill to complete quest?

It took me weeks of frustration to finish the quest. I spend hundreds on buying plat as I enjoy this game, why stop me at 180 and lose many more hundreds/thousands of my dollars for something so trivial?

I have never really understood OTM'S logic with armour/key quests. Surely you want all your customers to be able to progress and ultimately keep playing not just those in a dominant clan?

Sure raid and seasonal bosses should be fought for but simple quest bosses should really be available for all...after all isn't every player a customer (apart from a few afk farming free loaders) and surely many customers will eventually get fed up with being locked out of progression and simply stop playing.

You can get very far going solo. Just need to rely on 3 key factors; source of gold, regular market, and the black market

I'm not sure which clan you're referring to and yes the credit apple comment was rude, but an entire clan shouldn't be labeled in a negative way because of a few players. There's no clan on any server that doesn't have a jerk or two.

It's not uncommon to find clans that do not group with other clans for bosses. This is because they have had bad experiences with grouping other clans or its because the clan needs the drops from these bosses for their clan mates. I know OW is crazy on fingal with several clans lock battling every spawn.
