LVRogue has once again scammed. This time to my Autistic son. My son enjoys this game so much, plays it everyday. He enjoys it because he can play this game without any restrictions to his real appearance or real physical disadvantages. He can be anything he wants in this game. It's a shame you have been warned by many players about this player scamming and haven't issued an IP Ban yet.

Lose the scammer or lose my household of 4 from the game. You choose. Last straw. He has gone too far.

They will tell you to just block him.... They should do more then just that but recently it seems they have had such a focus on permanent content scammers get away without bans or suspensions.

He has been blocked but that doesn't take away his negative wrongdoings.

Like I said, my household of 4 all plays. I donate to the servers for all 4 accounts equally.

They can lose 1 scammer who has ruined many players game time or lose 4 players.

We've already discussed as a family that if action isn't appropriatly taken we will move on.

I totally agree they need to look more into banning these scammers. If they want to grow the game and keep their clients happy getting rid of scammers who will deter new players should be a high priority

OTM/Muldar

It is time for LV to go. I know that everyone on the Fingal server would vote for him to go. I've heard he's caused issues on other servers as well. He not only scams people out of their things but also rubs their faces in it after. Just yesterday, I saw that he scammed a bracelet off another player then shouted out that he was selling it right after.

I realize that if you're going to trade, you need to be careful and pay attention. I agree with that and because of that warning as well as the warnings about LV, he has not been able to scam me. I let him trade with me all the time just to watch him edit the amount of gold at the last second. If I was unaware of his status as a very well-known scammer I may not have caught that the first time he tried to do it. But I do agree that the ultimate responsibility is on the ones that open/accept trade and therefore allow themselves to be scammed.

BUT.....

How many times are you going to allow this to happen??? I hate to hear of people leaving the game just because of this one person. It's completely ridiculous! Please just ban his IP and give everyone a break. Either put an end to him or please explain the reason why you will not do so. Please.

Yep. And sadly he's proud of it. He shouts in castle that everyone knows he's a scammer and nothing will be done about it. Unfortunately he ends up getting a new victim constantly and is now on all 4 android servers doing it and bragging about it.

Funny, it seems none of the admins even care to acknowledge this post. Scamming is a huge problem in this game. How people are still managing to get scammed, despite the 3 confirmation screens in trade, is beyond me. If people are really that quick to approve a trade that they can't double check the items being traded then they honestly deserve to be scammed. If people actually cared enough about being scammed, like me, they would take a couple seconds on the 2nd or 3rd confirmation screen on trade. Just to clarify the first confirmation is the check, second and third are where no changes can be made and you can look over the trade. I in no way believe scamming is right, but for god sakes, if you care about the trade you would take a second to actually make sure everything is right.

I know the immediate reply is going to be, but Wardon the point is he has scammed already, to much, and the scamming can't be undone. My response to that ridiculous response is, oh I'm sorry for not realizing that he has scammed, it's only the topic of the post.

OTM really needs to find a way to deal with scammers, not necessarily banning ip addresses, but something I can't even think of. OTM has already made trades have 3 confirmation screens, what more do you blind people need so you can double check and see what's being traded. Plus how does this guy scam people with the same character? Do you guys just encourage people to trade with him instead of telling others not to trade with him.

Anyways sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings, I probably don't care if I did, scamming is a issue. Repetitive scamming by the same character is a fault of the world not informing people of the scammers lurking within it.

I see people get scammed regularly based off of many things but this case which is literally the oldest trick in the book how are you getting scammed by the change hold amouny/item switch.
There's a notif to show anything that's been altered in a trade.
This is a sorry I'm not sorry
However people who scam should get shunned by the majority and hopefully punished by otm in time.

As I agree that there is a few safeguards to not getting scammed, in the 2-3 confirmation screens, this scam was done to my Autistic son who isn't up to par with everyone else's response times. So I agree that the average Joe should know better that that doesn't fall in this category.
