Beginner tips, Rogue and LF clan

#1
Hi guys, as the title suggests, I am a new player. I've been keeping on wandering how this and that works so I finally decided to come and actually ask the people who knows. It's gonna be a long post, but I hope I'll get all the answers I'm looking for :)

Starting with my general questions:
-How do taming skills work? I've completed the quests but I don't know how to use them.
-How does the mount system works? Is it worth to go for the 19% one in Farcgrag Castle? I'm trying to get 25 bounty coins in order to buy the most expensive Bear mount. Is there some reason why I shouldn't do it?
-Is there a way to get Health and Energy Sigils for ig money? I heard they are really useful, but I'm not willing to pay just yet. Maybe later, as a way to thank the devs for such an entertaining game. Maybe...
-I like fishing, but I was wandering, is it useful? What is its purpose aside for getting those relics and for cooking? Is it worth "wasting" time in it? Even though I'm really enjoying it, not sure why.
-Is it possible to get to the endgame and have fun without spending real money?

Rogue related questions now:
-I checked a lot of builds and suggestions from other players' threads in the forum, but since they seem to be old, I don't know how viable they are. I'm building my character for a solo run. For the moment I'm going 5Str:5Dex:5Str:5Dex:5Vit and I take that at 300 Str I should start putting the rest of my points only in Vit and Dex. What do you say?
-I checked which skills to use and which ones to ditch. In my hotbar I have: Poison Blade, Quick Strike, Bandage Wounds, Meditate, Regenerate, Fast Reflexes, Sneak Attack and Hide. I read that I should take PB and QS off and add Shadow Strike and Life Steal. What do you think about it?
-How does Hide exactly work? It hides you from enemies of lower level than you? I read people saying that is useless, while I, as for the moment, I find it really useful to rush through areas(maybe it's just because I'm low and later on it will become useless, dunno).
-When is suggested to spend points into skills? I'm stockpiling points since I saw that by leveling skills up, the energy cost raises, and then again, I'm not even sure where to actually spend those points.
-At some point, should I start farming for pieces of equipment or should I stick with quest rewards gear?

As for the clan:
-I think I'd like being in a friendly clan, to chat while playing. I'm on Donn server. My IGN is "Severina". Let me know if you wanna invite me :)
-Is there some kind of benefit from being in a clan? I'm not talking about the possibility to beg for stuff, but actual benefits, like exp or drop boost when X people are online, or being able to access new areas and whatnot.

I think it's everything I whish to know. Sorry, it's a lot, but getting my answers will really help me towards enjoying the game even more. Thx for your patience.

Hey Severina. I play on Donn aswell. You are welcome to join us. We can help you with the game play.
Yes there are alot of benefits to be in clan.
You get help, better prices on plat items, quest drops and many other useful things.

Skill setup and stats for rogue.
Poison wepon(rest points), Quick Strike(max), Double attack(matching your level and little above, Fast reflexes, Life Steal(max), Shadow Strike(max)

Always aim to complete your quest armor. From warden to edl, as you have to have the previous set to move on to next.

For stats you put 2x your lvl in vitality. If you are level 50 you put 100 vit.. etc

55% dex and 40% str with 5% focus if you need it. If not add to dex.

Contact me or any of my clanmembers for membership in Concordiia. My ingame name is MrScar, I have a mage anf ranger aswell.. try to get hold of me in game ot on voxer app.

Wao, I thought this forum was more crowded. Maybe it's because I issued dull questions? MrScar answer was really helpful, but I'd really appreciate if someone else could add his knowledge and participation to the post. Maybe this is the wrong place to ask? Is there somewhere else where CelticHeroes players come together?
Lemme know ;)

Hi Severina,

Welcome to Celtic Heroes.

1.) Taming skills work if you have a Pet or battle mount so while you may have completed the quest to unlock the abilities you can only use the skills if you have the pets.
2.)Mount system works now through Tokens/Bounty Tokens or Plat tokens you can get from chests in plat store. I would recommend not going with the most expensive
The only real difference I believe is the skill level the stats and % on speed is only minimal difference. I personally went for the cheapest battle mount the mounted wolf.
3.)Energy & Health Sigils can be gotten in game if you check the auction house in farcrag castle you can usually pick some up not sure about other worlds but my world there usually between 4,000 & 6,000 gold per crates each crate contains 5 sigils.
4.) Fishing doesn't really have any significance other than it being a fun past time it's nice to work towards getting the cute little bear companion to.
5.)For starter builds it's always recommended to balance out your stats and gauge it as you go as each new area throughout your levelling journey will be fraught with new challenges & different types of mobs what I did was just measure where I was having difficulty so if I was finding I was dying to much I'd try to boost both my dex & Vit dex to provide my character with better defence & higher % chance to block/dodge auto attacks & vit for surviavibility but sometimes the issue could be that your killing to slowly so maybe boost your strength. Personally I always went with a blend of both Dex & Str almost half on each.
5.) Hide does just exactly as you stated, hides you from enemies according to how many skill points you have applied to it if your finding it to be useful then you probably should keep it, what works for others isn't necessarily going to work for you & vice - Versa.
6.)I always added points as I went up maybe 5 levels & id always apply to whatever skills I found to be useful at that time, Life steal is great for survivalibility.
7.)As you journey through Celtic heroes you'll learn that the quest armour & weapons are needed & you have to complete all tiers of them at each stage, this is where it's great to join a clan & work together towards that aim as well as having people to take down these big bosses that hoard all the best armour mats it's also nice to make friends & be a part of team.
There isn't any in game boost for being In a clan but this game you quickly realise isn't designed to be played solo I mean you could but if you hope to make it all the way to end game & take down all the bosses in game you'll need to be part of a team for this, every class has a specific role in these bosses rogues are mainly damage (DPS) then you have tanks healers etc so that's why it's crucial to have lots of players support.

Wish you luck hope I was of some help. :)
