Celtic Heroes

I've been on Celtic Heroes for a while now and never has the servers been down unexpectedly for this long. Should I be concerned as to whether my personal data is safe or not ?

Nop. But you can cry, as I'm doing right now.

Bet your wishing you had gotten around to migrating to AWS right about now.

My addiction is kicking in...

So are the servers gonna be back up today?

It seems serious. If it was a simple hardware failure they could've

1) simply replaced the part
2) or moved to another server box

But now I'm guessing it might be something like a data disk crash and they have to recover data which usually takes hours if not days, or restore from yesterday's. backup.

When they can't even provide an ETA, that's when you know it's something catastrophic.

Do you know if it is hourly or daily backups?

Earlier today due to a hardware fault at our hosts all world servers were halted without notice.

We have worked through the day with our hosts to resume normal services and get world servers running.

While we have now resolved the initial issue the process of resuming servers will take some time (Database management)

Rest assured no game progress has been lost, when servers are running again it will be from when servers went down.

We would like to apologise for this delay and want to thank you for your time and patience during this outage.

Servers should resume early tomorrow, possibly earlier depending on our external team.

I'll be online for a few more hours so any updates I'll let everyone know.
