Steady Aim Upgrade?

#1
Well I just got the steady aim training manual and its works great! But now, I'm not sure how to improve its ability, if possible.
If upgraded, its duration does not change, yet it cost more energy to use
Should I upgrade this ability at all? Will this make it better? Plz help :)

Steady aim improves your damage and your attack (how often your arrows hit their target). Upgrading the skill increases how much damage it adds and how much attack it adds. I find it to be a pretty good skill, but not too sure where it stacks in comparison to the rest of the skills in a ranger's arsenal.

Early on steady aim is extremely under powered. For low levels imo, skill importance would be in this order:

Sharpshot, sharpen weapons, longshot, rapid shot, double shot, steady aim/light heal, barbed shot.

Once you are a higher level steady aim starts to become much stronger as you can add much higher skill points into the skill. But until then imo it is best to avoid using steady aim.

U dont think lightheal is top 3 or even top 5 for lower lvls considering they wont have as much sigils or regen lux?

it depends. Whenever someone asks me for advice on making a new ranger i tell them that order. Then i say if they have health issues to add some points into heal. Because everyone plays differently at that level. I was a full dex build when low level and that is what i recomend to use so high defence meant i never really needed lightheal. If someone had lower vit or used a str build then heal would become more important then.

From what I know:
Steady aim is essential on DPS builds, plus sharpen weapons. But in DEX builds its not very useful, as you will be relying on your skills to attack and not your autos. (through steady aim is dex based). and you would find more usefulness on maxing bolas and light heal (very high healing with high dex). so it depends on your build.
