If otm is going to lie to the old players and bring chests back then I agree with what zyz said somewhere- everything needs to be brought back (all fash, all mounts, instruments, kites, hats like coven and lugh, and shrink/growth/camo charms). There's no point in bringing back items if it's all not going to come back. There should either be items that you can't get or items that you can get and not a mixture of both.

I don't believe it is. There are 2 reasons most players gave as to why the revival chests should come back. One was it's not fair that players shouldn't have access to old fashion without it being astronomically priced. The second was it's not fair players don't have easy access to vintage fash because they started after those event dates.
And you have players that say the older wearables are cooler than the newer stuff and everyone should have access to them.

Bringing back the hat and mask quests meet all those criteria also.

Yea... it's being overly dramatic. Whoever said that it all has to come back?? Some things are better off being nothing but history or a memory like old event quests. There's a difference between actual ingame content that was played than items purchased with cash. Like I wasn't too happy when I heard that the darkflame boss and bonegiant were being brought back because they are better off being history

The majority would most likely want everything to come back so that should outweigh the minority. No one should have to pay tons of gold for any of this stuff. Ummmm ok? I am an old player that experienced the same things every other old player experienced, and old quests have a lot more meaning than plat items. I really don't care if the quests are brought back, but as ail said, more work would need to be done on the quests and Otm gains nothing out of it but potentially more pissed off players so why even bother? Again, there's a huge difference between old quests and plat items.

The quests themselves don't have to be brought back they can just add them to the chests - this can be done since the items are already in the game. The quest items have the same meaning as the old mounts and fash - people had to work for both (one in game and one in real life). Everyone that cares about this topic is already pissed off so that doesn't mean anything - new players mad that the chests won't be original ones while old players mad that limited time items are being brought back (lying).
