Older players for the most part will say it was better before. I myself think so too :p maybe it's because they bring back memories of our noob days

Only thing I really miss about the old engine was the character models/animations and combat animations.

Remember when Aggragoth was killed by clans before he was itemized, and all he dropped for first couple of weeks were Aggragoth Tooth.
Then OTM rushed a patch with Aggy items and explained why aggy bracers don't have class restrictions because they're "for every class".

-when all meteor bosses were just plain red
-when you could just afk a whole night by leaving your device unlocked, which resulted in every mob spawn location in stonevale being occupied
