Sounds like you went a little bit too cheap with the phone and it doesn't have a separate user partition. So, as everyone else says, you'll need to add a memory apple.

I'm guessing it will be micro SD. Haven't seen a phone use anything else.

Might be a good idea to reboot the device and clear Play Store cache / data a few times before you run out to buy an SD apple.
