No Trade Armours do we drop or keep?

Hi all my bank is so full with stuff I no longer use but because it says important I guess I should keep it.
The older quest armours are of course NO TRADE but do we need them? I am currently trying for frozen and I need the meteor weapon to be converted into the frozen wand.
Is this the case with all new armours now? Do you need to keep the previous ones to upgrade through quest chains.

I think it is a good idea that each time you upgrade through quest it deletes the older armour which is none trade anyway but I was hoping for clarification thank you.

I keep my warden gear for fun.

Meteoric is absorbed when you obtain a frozen piece.

I keep my frozen also.

Dl and edl are totally your choice ig lol. Can't see anyone with a brain cell dropping edl but yeah
It is a shame that all obsolete armour isn’t absorbed when upgrading.

Meteoric is absorbed when you obtain a frozen piece.

I keep my frozen also.

Dl and edl are totally your choice ig lol. Can't see anyone with a brain cell dropping edl but yeah
It is a shame that all obsolete armour isn’t absorbed when upgrading.

I agree with you 100% a few armor does upgrade later on but the vast majority is a waste thoigh

It's actually better that they don't absorb.
Warden, a noob will upgrade to meteoric too early, losing the set bonus without realizing

Meteoric is absorbed because around this time they are being taught to boss. If you lose your meteoric gloves you're going to work hard to finish up the entire frozen set to regain your aura.

Frozen is not absorbed when moving up to dl for good reason. On non chaos bosses it's better to use dl items even without a full set of frozen gear. This is because of the skill points and ability points or direct damage added from dl armors. TLDR; players need both sets of armors until they complete their entire dl set
