^ are you talking about the pendant? It acts like cloak of fire I'm pretty sure. Does damage when something attacks you.

The pendant does damage to enemies that attack you, same as any other type of cloak effect. When leveling, given you have good sustainability, taking aggro of multiple mobs at once can multiply the DPS output of the cloak effect. Keep in mind it's permanent, so the damage can stack up quickly. Definitely not a useless item by any means.

This is actually really fascinating I'd love to see one of these pendants at work in person. From somebody who's never seen or heard of this pendant from first glance it looks like it has great practical use.

Over the course of a 15minute fight the charms accumulated damage would probably equate to 5-10 ranger autos. Not a big deal.

It's free dps on a non dps build. Divine and unresisted damage accounts for a large amount of the damage at raids.
