Probably depends on server dynamics. If servers work together, have less competition at end game etc ....Danu took several months to kill it. We were one of the last on iOS ..it’s not because the server itself though....but the end game is split between two clans and it took a lot of time and patience getting all leveled up and the right numbers for us ...plus, different time zones wasn’t helping at all in the beginning.

Why? It took lir like two years or so to down gelebron but arawn did it within months. One of the highest levels in the game is on android and android had more kills than some iOS servers so saying they're newer isn't that great of an excuse, especially looking at donn and fingal who have done gele for about a year+
Because Arawn only had one clan that killed all EDL/Hrung/Mord/Necro for the longest time so they have 40+ members with the best gears and not spread out among 100+ players, so they were Gele-ready faster than any other server.

It's also easier to learn a new boss strategy if it's the same people trying it every time. During the Tower beta, we had 3 Gele raid attempts and we couldn't go forward because it's a different set of people each time, and new people had to learn and practice what others already knew.

Lir currently has 4 clans capable of locking and killing dl (Emperrors, Knights of Sidonia, Brotherred, and Shaolin), 3 clans that can kill aggy (Emperrors, Knights of Sidonia, Brotherred), 2 clans that can kill Necro, Mordie, Hrung, and Proteus (Knights of Sidonia and Emperrors). This makes gearing toons take way longer since 6*s don't always spawn, and if they do, there is 4 clans that are there to kill it. Because of this, gear distribution is very thin and it takes a looong time to gear enough people in order to take down the higher level raid bosses. It's hard enough to get ~35 people on for a raid already, then you add the fact that not everyone is fully geared etc. Competition is fun and all, but it makes it exponentially harder to gear enough people for bosses when you are competing with 3 other clans all very capable of getting lock over you if you make a mistake/are undergeared.

Also, the level 220+ people are distributed pretty evenly between the top two clans, with a fair share in other clans as well. This makes it way harder to get enough level 220s on at the same time for a high level raid boss like Gele, Prot, Necro, and Mordie.

(Griefing rarely occurs, but I've witnessed it a few times on Necro and the occasional pulling of 6* dl bosses)

Exactly! The reason everything was spread out so far was greed in lir was really bad. Hoarding drops is bad. Defeats the purpose of being a clan and killing endgame if one person hoards 3 of the same item bracer, for instance.... no leader there has cracked down on it except emperrors... but I must say for the record they still have greed within their system but their system works for the clan. but none the less there is a trait of greed.

Emperrors are strong but activity is creating weak spots.

I have mentioned a system to knights of sidonia, a very very simple system. I've seen all types of systems and how people allowed and restricted certain people to get items. I want to express my system to someone who is willing to listen and be open minded.

Depends on the people in the server.

Servers with active players, smart players, effective multiloggers, plat buyers (to support raids) will all result in a good clan system.

The clan system leads to organization and fair methods to gear distribution, therefore the people mentioned above stick with these clans.

Sometimes there will be people who inject drama into the game, so it can be hard to get along, that causes multiple effective clans to form, it will still mean the server is successful, although more multilogging will be required to take down the bigger raids.

Arawn took down gele first because of how well we all worked together... No special sauce here. When gele first came out the clan came together and worked together, set alarms so for the attempts we had everyone. Same way we got the first necro kill.

Having only one clan at EG helps, but that isn't the only reason, as there were multiple servers at the time with structures like this. Resurgence has always had a lets get it done attitude and it shows off during our EG kills.
