Understandably we're going to kick at first against the new pet not being obtainable purely by the menial task of our daily bounties...

We don't share the economic interests of the DEVs.

We want a game that is customised to our needs.

But

Should we always throw our toys out of the cot when OTM makes economically viable decisions like this?

Should the developers always have to compromise in the interest of the lazy gamer?

So theres some challenges involved for the average non-platinum user.

No doubt there's some players for whom this new content will probably out of their league.

But then there is the resourceful, hard-wearing type of player who will be undaunted by the whole idea once the excitement and surprise has blown over...

...simply because

:They have what it takes to be Heroes.

Y otm just y? This is so stupid I doubt plat buyers will get lvl 6 pet..... I know someone who opened 400 chests and not even 1 egg....

Out of the 800 chests I’ve known people open not 1 egg, sounds like a problem to me

How do otm come up with these decisions, I never truely liked how chests were before but it wasn’t game breaking for those who liked to spend money on chests to be rewarded with 100% mounts and rare white fashion because these are just cosmetic items.

A dragon is not a cosmetic item, I don’t think they are that op and to me personally I don’t care, unless they fixed how crit abilities work those 1k bosses are useless. However I understand the frustration of non plat buyers and even plat buyers who spend hundreds of dollars to no avail

think logically next time otm, pet skins and mount skins are where the moneys at, don’t ask me why people waste hundreds of dollars for cosmetic in game items but they do, PET SKINS AND MOUNT SKINS, not gonna effect the play style of the game just make the plat buyer have a cosmetic reward.

Perhaps revise the 'drop' rate of eggs from chests IF necessary.

It’s one of the 3 jack pot items along with 4K plat and 2 mil gold. That shouldn’t be so surprising considering past events I’ve opened 500+ without Jackpotting. Just to be clear it’s not like I want this changed now it’s been implemented but in future updates I don’t want to see this again. That is just my opinion at the end of the day

Anyhow...

My turn to go open 1000 chests and sink back into my habitual inactivity on the forum - until the next cataclysmic update.
