And with higher margins, the small number of employees are guaranteed vacations to the Mediterranean or Maldives at least twice per year (forum mod included). It is funny to see forumers often taking a 'pity' stance when referring to their small team, and hence forgive them for slow releases. Remember: it's all DELIBERATE.
Huh, I guess I missed my cruise ship. (In case anyone was wondering this is just categorically false)
Muldar claiming game is streamable is delusional and clearly shows the massive disconnect between players and OTM.
Are you claiming people don't stream the game?

"(Livestreams are great too, I personally enjoy stream bombing with multiple toons haha)"

Because I've seen and participated in many players livestreams on Youtube, lots of people document their leveling and questing through Youtube.

It's not just the end game content that needs work. Have you tried making a low level alt without any help? The game is almost impossible to start and get anywhere without spending money the whole making the game harder for older players has just made the game harder for low levels which puts almost everyone off. The game hasn't been made easier for lower levels in 5 years and the only fun bits of the game start at level 180 because otm keeps raising the cap. It makes it almost impossible to get anywhere when you have this void. I played through a bit of the beginning game and at least 5 quests don't make sense, one quest names the wrong mob in fingals and the parallel levelling areas aren't even included in the quest line so a new player can't find anything easier to level on without vast knowledge or gold in game to start with. I just ended up afk levelling for two days to get anywhere on a new Alt....... it's destroying new players before they even begin and it's boring no one wants to be defeated when they get stuck spawning at shalemont river leystone when they were killing across the river.

Well.... excuse my lack of punctuation but I hope I got my point across

Please. This game is a breeze up to level 140ish. And around 120 it becomes methodical, if not as easy. The whole place is effing magical when you're new. And having a bigger main toon to farm quest drops makes it so much easier.

One almost sprouts wings and flies to level 60.

But how many people actually watch these live streams? I know that I wouldn't bother watching one as it's the same content we've been looking at for years.

Livestreaming is not gonna keep your current playerbase playing.
And neither does dangling a plat-only pet.

I hope the next update addresses all our issues, CH is really at the end of its rope.

I definitely agree with this. The fact OTM made it pay to play/pay to win is insane. The MMO is doing well, but this is insane. Hopefully they change it. At LEAST make to to where you can get it through bounties. Hell 25 purple tokens per egg would be nice. It would take a while but it’s be worth it.

I really enjoy where this thread began: a passionate community coming together to try and rally to bring life back into a game they feel has grown stagnant over time! You've made some great points and criticisms in this thread.

Let me suggest ways that livestreaming does help and some other suggestions that you as the community can get involved with. Livestreaming keeps your game relevant and discoverable. The more folks we have playing the game and playing live; the more opportunity other have to re-discover or discover the game. That is helpful as the game relies on having a community. Now, I get it. Camping for a boss is def. not livestreaming content, but there is content within the game that is. I really love the idea someone suggested that we do a weekly Arena stream and you can come beat up some our folks on the team.

Another great way you can help the game team as the community is to tell us not only what you want to see changed in the game, but also, what you love about the game! Too often, I meet folks that disenfranchised or only want to go off the data because all they ever see is negative feedback. Yes, constructive negative feedback is important and crucial, but so is positive constructive feedback. It lets the team know you do enjoy some of the changes or features that in the game and could give them a better base as to when they're moving in the right direction or where to take a feature further.

Participation! We hope to start running some more engaging content and events in the future. Be sure to participate and encourage others to do so as well. Participation is a big seller to the man behind the screen that asks us for numbers. The more people that participate, the easier it will be to get approval for more events.
