#23Might have to dumb down that example even more m8. Some of these chafts don’t understandThe team isn't just flipping the switch on and off hoping for different results. They'll make adjustments (hopeful fixes) and then implement those changes. The team is still currently investigating the root cause and working on a solution for the current server latency and performance issues.
Think of it like this. You're car stops working, so you look under the hood and see that you need to change a spark plug or two. Okay, so you've fixed the spark plug issue; go and turn on the are; oh wait! It still doesn't run properly. You get back under the hood and keep finding something and fixing and adjusting till you get the car purring like a pussycat. Sometimes, it isn't as simple as it appeared to be on the surface.
The team is still working under the hood to get to the root cause and get the servers back to purring condition.

#24I wonder... if the problem is the same problem we have suggested it is year after year, update after update, bad servers... I'm not a programmer nor would I pretend to be one, but I would assume that there is only so much optimization that can be done for mediocre servers...

#25These are not fixes to server lag. They're fixes to the Alt Book no trade bug, the vendors being out of reach, bounty board bug etcYa know, these three? Geez
While some of those may include "back end fixes" that's supposedly will get rid of server lag, none worked.
All the resets done over the weekend was simply turning the on-off switch, just to clear lag issues. No server changes were done.

#27With all due respect, i feel your pain, i had a pretty lousy weekend playing but their are almost no good "mobile" mmorpgs on google play or ios. Most the others either have lousy graphics, poor mechanics, or just are not fun. I would rather play this game knowing ill have days it will be bad. With that being said its ultimately up to otm to fix these problems. It simply is not just a flick of a switch situation. Even the best games still have latency/lag issues but admittedly most are not as obvious.Otm has been resetting servers almost daily but the lag issue has not been fixed. It should be clear by now that resetting doesn't solve the problem. Unless you identify the root cause, it is pointless to keep resetting. Go get an external expert to help you identify the root cause since your internal IT people are unable to identify it and solve the problem.
