It doesn’t come down to gear alone. It also comes down to overall experience and the skills u use. The build I run/ techniques I use in my build vary from the rest of the rangers in My clan. A lot of ppl are better geared than I am but I still get kills because of the build. Though gear does help I really don’t think it’s the deciding factor in how much dps u can output

Leg recently got really lucky and won godly and imperial attack braces within days of eachother however atm my gear is still ahead of his. I doubt it will be for much longer tho lol

also this. Gear is important but techniques, builds, tricks, skills, swaps and even hotbars all come into who is the best. That is why you see similar geared rangers however one will get most of the kills or why you see lower geared rangers beating those with all the godly and imperials.

Leg has godly necro ring not sure what his second is, godly and imp attack prot brace, shadow moon mord helm dg gloves and bp his divine ring is one or two tiers higher than blues.

Not the best question to ask.

As a few others have stated, experience can out do gear. You can usually tell how "experienced" someone is by looking at their gear. A smart person doesn't just equip stuff because it is godly, they actually look at the stats and question how much use it is to them. Of course having godly versions of actually good gear and experience beats all though. Hotswaping helps as well, but can be counterproductive if you aren't fast enough at it(highly effected by lag as well).

Experience is knowledge on equipment, ability/quickness of fighting, logical fighting, and the knowledge of a few lesser known tricks to get the edge.

Experience, as I previously stated will let you tell if someone's build is good just by looking at their gear. Here's an example. When I hit the world damage record during carrowmore times, I only had a focus of the mystic and an aggy grimore. It was just my creative combo of gear that boosted my damage that much.

Onto this and my opinion of clans. I think it is rather shortsighted of a few clans that I know of to only give godly gear to those who already have good gear. The people making these decisions tend to have little to no idea on how to play said class they are distributing to, thus hurting their clans potential power. So to all people in charge of gear, I highly recommend being proficient in all of the 5 classes, or having someone that is to help you.
