Otm gets the innocent ones banned but the ones imposting not banned....
Should just ban device of those imposting names

Just today a lvl 1 player called heigendice was running around in castle pretending to be Heigens dice toon and scamming people that way.
Later, real Heigen arrived in castle and this faker left. But right after Heigen left too, a toon called realheigendice or so appeared....

Die those people have no life?

Another example was a low lvl toon called LoIly imitating to be Lolly. Almost no difference in spelling, Just 200+ lvls difference.

OTM, if u can do something against that, pls do so!

I think OTM changed the in game font before to combat these kind of issues.

Best way to prevent it is NOT to accept trades from people who randomly come asking for your stuff. i mean fr, how often does your best friend come up to you and just flat out ASK for your shyt.
Not to mention that the people probably type differently. And if none of that made you suspicious then resort to the classic
"look at the trade box closely and make sure this trade is legit (i.e. check names, level, items, gold, etc.) BEFORE I click accept"
Instead of the easier
"Damn just got myself 'scammed' even tho it was due to my own error, I'd better blame OTM because they didnt protect me from my own carelessness, those scoundrels"

The company isn't responsible for your mistakes. Hell, they warn about trades in the loading screens for goodness sake, and even added that extra "ARE YOU POSITIVELY ABSOTOOTLY FABULOUSLY SURE YOU WANNA ACCEPT THIS TRADE" screen in the trades JUST COS of people complaining about being 'scammed'

Unfortunatley, It has now been six weeks since my friend and I were scammed of my rides. Horse and Boar. While I have sent you Pics, nothing seems to have been done. I have had no contact, yet written every week in some form whether it be Here, or Support.
This scamm that took place was indeed a very manipulative, calulative one, and they had quickly planned this, yet shows how devious their minds were to scamm and steal some ones belongings.
My Name is RedRidingH00d, I have played this game for many years, and it is disappointing, and I feel quite saddened that OTM are not taking more of a stance in this situation. The thing is Frosty Foxy and I we having a conversation back and forth, when all of a sudden a false Fsroty Foxy comes into the conversation which is a level 1, but because Frosty and I were in communication wih one another, my eyes didnt realise the false name when the fake name Fsroty Foxy said..”Quick give me your horse” This person being a long time friend in the game whom I well trusted I just automatically gave her the ride, while on the other end, my good friend was messaged, by a fake me saying..”quick give me your Boar” She like me had complete trust and ofc traded. This personwas GOTZE from our clan, who has since been Booted because of this scamm. We had the pics and some discussion, which I had sent to OTM, but unfortunatley I have not heard form OTM since this happened.
I Know OTM has the power to compensate our losses, and I truly hope that your hearts will be softened in this case. I have continued to write to you hoping you will return my rides on good faith, but also because, I really want to see these players banned, although it has been so long now I am not sure if anything can be done towards their appalling actions of a devious scamm that brings heartache to the person or persons effected. I do plead that OTM will look into our matter, and find it in your hearts to return my Horse and Boar.

Idk why people suddenly become so trusting to someone they've only met online.

Fr, if my friend in THE REAL WORLD said "quick, gimme 10k!" I'd def ask them why. And that's the real world, how much more trusting can you be in a game ?

All these things i have heard like “if you fall for a scam like this kys” or “who would ever fall for a lvl 1 acc” and so much more. I fell for it wasnt too bad i guess, only lost 800k. Here is my advice to you all tho. If you havnt had sleep in close to 48 hours, go to sleep. Dont log into the game lol. I had a good laugh about all this in clan chat right after it happened lol

Dear OTM. It has been approx 7 to 8 weeks since i have written to you about my Razor Back Boar and Black Horse being scammed. Scammer a Level One Frsoty Foxy. The real Froaty has been a good loyal friend for years, and when we were in depth conversation, they interrupted, and we were not looking directly at there name as our conversation was going back and forth. I am wondering how long it will be before Foxy and. I will get some response. I have written to support, not for a long time tho now as i mainly bring my mail to here now.
I ask that you will look into our case of my scammed rides, and with a blessing of returning them.
Below is a pic that a friend sent me today, and we believe this could be the scammer who took our Boar, or he may hace bought it. Regardless, with your effort i know you can find out what happened and do something positive about this.

We're currently looking at implementing more restrictions to features such as trading to better prevent this from our end.

A key tip: NEVER TRADE WITH A LEVEL 1. Pay attention to who the trade is with. Yes, it's little more effort, but the information is there.

Please do not restrict trading. So often times good people are penalized for the dishonest practices of a few individuals. While I feel badly for the ones who get scammed...in my opinion, it is entirely preventable.
With the exception of guild banks, but from what I have read so far on these forums, this is being addressed.
OTM needs to write a policy and stick to it..not do a case by case determination on whether items should or should not be returned. Either return the items for the entire player base or do not.

As for the trading action, there are further ways to prevent it. You can choose to only trade through guild/friend tabs preventing scamming entirely. Please correct me if I am wrong.
