Why not finish leveling to endgame if you login to do nothing?

Good question.

Well... you see I don't see a point in being endgame. When you are endgame all you do is camp, and try to get the best gear, and maybe try to level over the softcap. I know because I was endgame at one point. And you know what happened? A higher lv cap and new gear were added and everything except for my ice blast bracelet were instantly obsolete. People said hey furyion wanna level? And I've been saying no for the past 4 years. The same thing can happen here too, eventually the level cap will be raised, and new gear will be released. I'm not dealing with that again.

TLDR, you endlessly chase perfect gear endgame when that isn't going to happen. So I spend my time making the most OP low level alts possible, because at least I can make those perfect.

Isn't it worse off being mid level and camping castle?

All you do is hoard stuff, merch, etc, but what's the point of all those millions if you can't do anything with it? You can't even show off to other castle campers as much anymore because of dwindling activity.

At least when you are end game you can compete for locks, kills, best gear, no one is forced to camp, that is a choice, and on top of that you can also do what you did as a mid level castle camper.

Well there's nothing wrong with how he plays the game unless of course you have rights to tell him how he experiences the game.

Some people like me hoard items cause the economy on my server anyways is so bad selling stuff isnt worth it. Everything is expensive and nothing sells. So i just end up keeping stuff cause no one will give a decent offer for anything. I mean dragon disks were selling for 42k just months ago and now people are trying to give them away for 10k. Ive got items that i paid tons for ans kept to sell way later down the road when they became rare. But problem is no one wants to pay even what they cost 2 years ago when they were new..... So there two types of hoarders. Ppl who got stuck with items not worth selling to them. And people who are so rich they just buy everything and throw it in players that cant buy them faces. I will sell anything i have for the right price even my one off items ik nobody has. But nobody is gonna pay for them. Thats the problem people wanna hoard and ruin the economy and those who dont wanna low ball things. Like i got 80ms wings people keep offering me 250k..... So guess who is gonna keep them even tho i dont even want them. Lol

Ummm no.

IF I wanted to, I could buy raid gear without even having to boss because I have the gold and the contacts. I have 1490 xp lix as we speak too. If I wanted to be endgame, I would be. Gold does a lot more then you think...

Because on my world people ARE forced to camp, or they get pushed aside. And although I'm a nice guy, I don't take kindly to people telling me what to do, in fact, no one should. There's a difference between hey fury want to kill hrungnir? And fury come kill hrungnir or else you'll get demoted. First case I'd probably say yeah and help them. Second case I'd flip em off and leave. It's only blind sheep that would take that. Not to mention I don't really care for the bosses anymore in all honesty.

Yes, when I did play my mage I did merch too. Just as effectively as well. I just don't like camping and all that...

I already achieved my goals in this game, I had 100m gold, I'm worth 500m, I was endgame, and I was the strongest mage at one point. I don't really have much else left to do, especially since I started in 2011. So I kinda just float around and talk to friends and trade.

If I'd say anything I would say I'm a collector more then anything now. I'd rather have an essence blade then a void blast wand anyday.

he's kinda like the crazy grandpa of the server; never does anything, just likes to reminisce about the old days.
(kidding, only kidding , he is a great mentor for aspiring mages (and most other classes) and is always giving (generally much-needed) advice to newcomers and old-timers alike. Let's face it, Fury's accomplished everything anyone would hope to in a game, now he's just around to help others reach their highest potential.) (and he doesn't wanna walk away from his cash stack )
