Well, my friend spent money on platinum... asked a dude for a transfer (why he didn't wait for me to log on I'll never know) and the dude scammed him. I know for a fact OTM can return his items... they can also ban the scammer... Yet they don't...

What does OTM care about? All they care about is making money. Forget those who get scammed, why waste time helping them when they'll just spend more money to get it again? Why care about players getting scammed?

All OTM did was prevent sneaky scamming... Why don't we just all forget that it is possible to make friends and gain trust... No reason to make friends, because that's not why humans have personalities... All OTM cares about is making money, forget the capabilities we have as humans. Emotions mean nothing. As long as OTM gets money you're all free to make friends and get betrayed

Anyways...... Your dead wrong. Because the items are still in circulation and could have been sold to innocent players, then they cannot be returned. Also its written plain and clearly, that the players who make the trade are responsible for what happens to the items. So its your friends fault and not theirs, so they do not have to fix it.

Haha, the items were put out of circulation. He sold them, what is there to say now? Take the player's profits, return the items to Marr and ban him!

By sold them... To a shop or a person? And a person cant just be banned for scamking the guy, maybe a warning, but that is all. Afterall your friend is responsible for giving the items to him. And they can not take the gold either as that is in circulation.

Either way stop fighting a fight your not going to win and its annoying have to tell you over and over the items CAN NOT BE RETURNED AND HE CAN NOT BE BANNED!!!!!

Let me get this straight... if you had a guy you trusted scam you what would you do? You'd be furious, I want my friends items returned... They were sold to a merchant. That doesn't matter, Admin CAN make everything straight. He hasn't chosen to. He is a friend of mine and he hasn't been on to see this.

Yes of course I would be mad, but I atleast have a loving clan that could help me through it and punish the scammer in other ways. And possibly even get back the item for me. But I have 2 devices so I dont need to fear about being scammed through transfer. Admin CANT make it straight, but can straighten a few curves. And just cause your demanding it now wont work, because thousands before you went theough this process and got over it and so should you and your friend. If admin was to start going back on his word then all the player community would be fed up because he listened to a whining cry baby and didnt help them.

Since when has it been a good persons fault for bieng wronged? The scammer was the one that lied, not the innocent player.

In the real world if an item is stolen, the police track it and return it, no matter who's hands it ended up in. Go ask a pawnshop how many items they have had siezed as stolen property and returned to their owner.

Mdimacro... 'theirs' is refering to OTM. And Yes it is partialy his fault for trusting a man that he knows not 1 bit. And also this isnt the real world so stop trying to turn this game into a cops and robbers.

Further more one thumb is not responsible for undoing a bad trade you did. It is you that accepted the trade not one thumb. One thumb has even gone as far to put in an extra step in the trade process to prevent a person from doing a dumb trade.

You have no right to get upset at the game maker. They are not the one who said to trust this person. You made that choice. It is between you an the person you chose to trust. Frankly I would never trust anyone with an exchange. But if I were to do so I have a list of about two people in game I would trust and I would never use anyone else to exchange.

In Addition to One Thumbs's defence, they are in the process of implementing the mailing system where by you can mail selected items to selected characters. This will obviously prevent future scaming in regards to item transfer.

I do feel bad for your friend. Really I am but its tough luck unfortuntely. :|
