Epona are showing other servers the way...on OTM ludicrous expectations.

Take off your dominant clan blinkers and get communicating with others clans. And get the job done.

Stop whining about numbers. Prove a point.

Lol you’re not wrong, pretty sure most servers with competition might be able to down bt if clans worked together... but that’ll never happen cause people would rather stay in their cave than be cooperative.

The game should provide the opportunities for freedom of play style but not force you to embrace one style over the other.

The developers built the game as a competitive game. It's nice that epona allows for something different. But that doesn't mean servers should be forced to adopt that style.

I suggested couple of years ago that OTM close the option to make accounts at certain servers that are very well populated and thriving. Not to hurt these servers, nor permanently, but simply to give us the smaller servers a chance.

When one server gets 65 toons for a raid, not necessarily Epona (Arawn is a 1 dom clan server), and another server of similar playstyle only gets 36, u can see the population difference is crazy. No one should be forced to work with their rivals if they dont wish to. Its an open world mmorpg that requires some sort of competition. If the only competitive part of this game will be collecting chickens and killing rabbits then this game is as good as dead.

I suggested couple of years ago that OTM close the option to make accounts at certain servers that are very well populated and thriving. Not to hurt these servers, nor permanently, but simply to give us the smaller servers a chance.

I don’t mind collecting chickens....

But I agree with everything else. Our clan for the past few days can barely manage to get 30 online, and we’re the only eg clan on the server now. Once in a blue moon we can get 40-50 online, but until that happens we won’t even be able to attempt bt.

One server could have 1000 another could have 10 but that doesn’t mean you turn 10 to 11 just cus it’s less populated. People might dislike the smaller servers playstyle and systems. Belenus is barely overpriced, the prices in AH are mainly dumb solo ppl who try to sell an alt book for 100k. I never paid more than 8k for alt book (usually 4k), nor more than 8k for rebirth. I always paid 200 per pot, 100-200 per idol, maybe paid 4k for hastes for mere 20 hastes. Xps are 4k, at most 5k but they ahve gone back to 4k and combos are going back to 8k.

Nothing I see in Belenus is overpriced, Ive never felt it is. Ppl just look in AH where everything is overpriced. On other worlds Ive seen horses sell for 14M, in Bele I dont think Ive ever seen a mount go to 5M.

I highly doubt that’s the reason why belenus is so small. Belenus has always been one of the smallest, and it’s been this way since way back in the day.

As for the biased thing, while elems do use gen voting I’ve noticed that their system is much much more fair than Ronins dkp system which has many noticeable flaws which has sparked many arguments (also doesn’t have the greatest gens but I won’t go on about that lol), and this is coming from a member who had more dkp than atleast 80% of the clan at the time. Elems is a very old clan that has been around since the beginning and they like to keep things old school which is respectable. Ronin is a clan that recently gained a lot of power and they are trying to get along with recent trends such as dkp but can’t quite get it right. While in Ronin there have been many arguments related to gear and points and while in elems there hasn’t been a single one

The "favoritism" has rarely ever been an issue that stirrs the pot in Elementals. I see flaws in dkp I dont enjoy and certain "biases" in voting that are more beneficial. Overall, as I do the majority of the banks for my clan (7 out of 11 banks I think), I like to share with clansmen how banking is done and votes and how we track every single item given and track raid attendances and partly track edl and snorri attendances (just not putting those into actual points), overall our system has inherited many aspects of other systems that keeps it almost 100% fair, with it's flaws such as in every system.

Also to correct ur mistakes. The dominant clan (Elementals) vote with gens, chief and guardians (with guardians being the majority of leaders) on everything equally, thus its not the "gens favorite themselves" crap that ppl like to throw. In the rival clan (Ronin) everything is dkp excluding dl edl and dg being voted on by gens and chief only.

Elem isnt the flaw for Bele being small. Belenus was small beforehand and in fact was much more split into clans while Elem united most the players of other clans (always had competition except for certain periods), and Elem exists since May 2012 so I cant say that the voting system has corrupted the clan or has affected it. In fact, the creator of Elem and it's first chief was quite corrupt himself, as he geared himself first. We never considered him the chief and treated our general (Alishia) as the active chief. Eventually we just bonded as a clan and told that chief that he has to step down or we'll all leave, and thats what happened and Alishia then became our chief. So Id argue very strongly on saying Elem works in a biased way. We give no room for those things, not even for our chief.

On the downside if you got friends or family into the game and you were fortunate to be in a well populated server you wouldn't be able to enjoy the game with them.

I am unsure if they do this already, but servers with smaller populations need to be on top of the world selection screen when players are creating their respective accounts.
