Would people be able to respond to threads from the in game forum via the web? With a lot of other games in game forums lead to lag and are sometimes harder to use. That being said, I do like the option of being able to access forums without leaving the app.

Yes, and vice-versa.

This seems like a really good idea. Only reason I can see that it won’t work as well is due to a lot of clans tracking dkp, drops, banking etc through third part apps. It would make in game communication easier yes, but it wouldn’t get rid of the necessity of third party apps. Unless otm (sorry I’m so used to calling u guys otm._.) were to implement something to help track dkp/drops within the game itself.

One other thing to be considered to add in-game is a bank system. It was alrdy said before there are ideas and small plans about it, and adding it would be very helpful.

Which software specifically are you looking at? The UX is a very important factor in how effective it will be, and if the switch will be worth it. I know many Asian mmos with the same integration features and they are pretty heavily used, but the same type of integration on some American games sees almost no community interaction on the forums.

We're looking at KTPlay.

They have a great track record in the Western games they're implemented. We will be able to customize it quite a bit.

I think as long as we still have desktop/website access and can maintain the same dedicated forums feel that we have used here, the integration would be great and allow much more interaction between individual players and the general community. A huge problem of the past was most of the player base did not use the forums, so they had no voice on large issues that came up.

As awesome as those features sound. I have a feeling you guys will have access to every chat log within that system. Which is ehhh.

We already have access to every chat log, but yes, we'll have any new systems as well.

I mean, if I read correctly. New system helps eliminate the need for third party apps like line/band/discord. Things you guys dont have chat logs for. I'm aware of ingame chat logs lol.

Lot of times clans like these chat programs so they can filter instead of OTM as well. Don’t see them being replaced but rather suplimented by the new chat features.
Clans like being able to joke around etc without worrying that what they say is being watched by OTM. And it makes sense.

Overall the new stuff sounds awesome and I’m looking forward to seeing it implemented. Just don’t be surprised when people still use old systems

I think this sounds wonderful. The only thing I would also suggest is a /report function so the problem in game can be flagged to support without us having to ss everything. Adding /report player name would be great too ...it can flag the conversation......The sexual harassment and lix ksing would be tracked faster and then hopefully handled properly. Assuming of course that when I spend money to use a product I should have the right to use it without interference from other players?

The closer I get to end game the more disgusting the behaviors are getting....these are either passively supported by OTMs lack of intervention or mishandled by the support team because it is occurring with an increase in frequency and the sexual harassment is in open channels. Clean this up. No, I will not spend my game time taking and sending scene shots. Log in a Dev and watch..better yet ..let your wives/daughters do it and ask them how it makes them feel.
