If someone lives and breathes the game while barely having any stiff competition with clannies in all attendances, and demonstrate an outstanding selfless and decent attitude for clan then yeah, but this is extremely rare.

You will see someone with the most points followed by a trail of people close behind, giving a full set to the top person while the people in trail are doing mediocre DPS using EDL armour is not a bright idea.

If you spread it around there will be happier clannies, and clan will be downing stuff quicker if more rogue/ranger toons, for example, have doch bp and gloves.

I doubt the top 10 or so players all have very similar dkp. If so, give them all DG sets. I would be pissed to work harder for nothing

Wow. Okay so being a leader and keeping attendance is an extremly time consuming task and I know all about it since I’m the one doing it in my clan and it can make me straight grouchy, but gear should never be based solely on that factor. It’s an often thankless job to do and can be frustrating, but the people who are logging and showing for the raids are the ones who are banking the items ..ultimately it’s not that hard for the ones doing the extra offline work to manage time around Proteus and Gele. I’ve managed to do both and my attendance has not suffered in the slightest. If someome feels they don’t have to do as much online because they do too much leadership duties offline then they should consider finding someone else to help. Otherwise it should be based MOSTLY on efforts inside game at those bosses. Now if the leaders/book keepers attendance is just as good as everyone else’s, then I can see how other people will take their extra help into consideration when it comes down to an ultimate decision. I just don’t think anyone should ever feel entitled based on a rank or side responsibility, everyone should be held to same bossing standards.

I know about it too, I was chief of a dominant endgame clan. Yes it took hours out of my day every week, and I don't think that makes me more entitled to gear than clannies with the same attendance as me I think gear should be based solely on in-game efforts because thats where the gear actually matters.

Also gabee comment was very tongue in cheek. A bit of a jab at arawn where gens outside of game work is among the biggest factors in giving out sets. Maybe it’s since changed, hopefully it has changed. I wouldn’t know anymore

Ahhh here we go, damn I swear people think more about arawn then any other server.. at the time I geared any set any leader that got had active attends and when you top that with the thankless paperwork they do for clan then why not? I also consider clan loyalty and the likely hood someone will be in the clan for the long hall.. so people who have raged quit in the past and attempted coups at one point or another well just didn't make any sense to me.. I mean let's face it leaders have to consider many things in gearing such sets as the drops are rare and powerful.. so far I've geared 17 dg sets all still in clan and not going anywhere anytime soon I imagine.. now we lost quite a few pures on pieces that are no longer in clan from when we did pieces.. so please tell me I'm doing something wrong by shifting my tactics to full sets on players that are the full package.. behavior wise, administrative wise, active wise, and have shown the upmost loyalty to clan through out the years, I've also geared when someone's shined in some of those factors and not all.. its worked great so far and the clan is growing at a enourmous rate.. I've also had leaders pm me from a few servers asking how I gear sets and we exchange ideas.. I know it kills u forum haters but we're doing fantastic and having lots of fun

My reply was just in general..didn’t realize it was sarcasm from the other person being directed lol But I will say that our leadership does take all that into consideration as well..just the admin work wasn’t necessary to take into consideration for us lol..but when it comes to fulls vs pieces, we have lost several too so I understand the frustration. We are working on our 16th full currently with only two temporarily inactive. However 8 pieces have been inactive for over a year, with one being a sold account ..I don’t regret the decision to switch to full one bit and reward those who stick around and do the majority of the raids
