Celtic Heroes

Recently I have been reading about Celtic Mythology to try and find out when / where this game takes place, and while doing that i found the tale of The Isle of Destiny where the Children on Danu *Sail on several boats from the land of Danu to this new Island* and so it is tied to your character landing near the lighthouse at the start, and the picts are the Punisher Sword Village from the land of Danu, so after all of this happens the Children of Danu burn their boats and go to land (where they find a civilization) and their being being call the Fir Bolg. and so they prepare for battle and such til the two leaders - Sreng and Nuada battle, with Sreng being victorious and chopping off Naudas hand, that is until a god make him a new hand and they just kinda Slaughter the poor Fir Bolg who can barely resist after the gods got involved, and after being beat the Danu Children allowed the Fir Bolg to have one area of land. And one of the most shocking parts are that the Broken Natives found there way to a wasteland that was (in my opinion) the worst section of Ireland. This land was named Connacht... So i think you can see where im going with this: The lesser people that were attacked and enslaved by the children of Danu and some of their defeated warriors had to go live in the worst part of Ireland while the rest remained freedom fighters and resorted to hiding away. Being known as savages who are inhuman and fought along side fermoins (Not how its spelled but idk) who I will touch on in my next post as being Boggans. And i think its really epic how we are tricked into being a *hero* and fighting for the gods when in reality we are just brutes who took over ireland and now try to destroy the natives. theres also really interesting plots about the Connacht rebellion, the Skullcrushers, and the Blackstones.
