So after writing on myself with sharpie, taking pictures with my iphone, and analyzing the results, I do think Vix's photo is photoshopped. While you do expect to see pixelation around the ink in the pictures, it tends to be the same color as the underlying skin, not lighter. Most likely it is lighter because their wasn't a shade in photoshop close enough to the skin color.

Also you would expect the letters to be more pixelated themselves, but mabye with a higher quality camera it is different.

That bieng said, there are a few things that I can't explain like the fineness of the heart at the top and some letters at certain points. This seems very hard to mimick in photoshop, but it does happen in real pics.

Also vix is right, if you write on yourself in the mirror correctly, it is backwards when you take the pic.


On the whole, This leaves me about at the same place I began, skeptical.

Personally, I now think that way too much effort is being put into this thread to discover the truth here.

I think yer right. Not because of photoshop or whatever, but because every pic is massive cleavage not just a "Hey! this is me pic" that a girl you would think would pony up with & why would a chick draw on her chest...that too me is equally funny. Like yea it happens in college, but not on a forum site.. but whatever, on a real note...who cares. If it's a real girl, more power to her, if it's a fake forum poster, who cares..they have put enough riddiculous energy into creating a fake backstory I'm gonna just let them have it. Doesn't hurt us or them. Truth, reality it doesn't matter at all in a MMO, we have home schooled, fortune 500, young, old, male, female personalities around here from all religions and backgrounds and when has it ever mattered? This shouldn't matter either.

At the end of the day, this is a good thread, post pics of yerself if you wish, if you wish to punk the community with funny pics or fake one's, that's fine too. On a root level it simply doesn't matter. The thread got people talking about pics and it's nice to see people so fair enough.

There are two possible cases here.

1- someone is trolling the forums and finds all of this hilarious. They are not trying get anything. No harm, no foul.

2- there actually is such a person playing the game.

Tea knows me from another game and knows a fair amount about my RL person. I think it fair to say that though I am by no means a rockin hawt babe, that your skepticism about who would or would not play such a game would also include me.

Let me give you another example. I have a good friend who is several steps removed from the President in a large government foundation. He not only plays MMOs, but is exploring models to reform higher education based on the principles of MMOs. This very serious and not just a lark. More is revealed about various individuals models of themselves and the world than is revealed about Vix from this thread... And that is saying a lot given the amount erm... Revealed about the Vix personae.

Your probably not referring to me caliban, but I want to say I'm not skeptical that very attractive people play MMO's, I know for a fact that many do. I am just skeptical about the Op based on the facts, that is all.

Dude. Caliban is not in anyway your prototype MMO'er. I RL lol'd. But I think that Mobile-Gaming has flipped the script on what and who plays this Genre's game's. I'm not saying the stigma of fat, socially awkward, sausage finger keebler elf-height gollum doesn't still ring true about some MMO'ers. But there are plenty of shallow, stupid, flip-shade, Jason Derulo wanna-be's too. And I think it's so much more fun because of that new diversity. Makes the community more eclectic.
