They should imo. Using past cases as precedent for what should happen with new ones, in the past if it was due to an unfair quantity of time provided no matter the boss players were granted drops if they could prove the boss would have died otherwise.

Way I see it, this isn’t the players fault. It was an insanely large window for when the resets could occur so it’s unfair to except players to not be raiding. And 5 minutes isn’t enough notice for most clans to finish what they are doing if it’s a harder boss for them. This is about compensating for losses in materials and resources and giving players their just desserts. That is my argument for the petition anywho.

Can you find an example of OTM/VR giving out drops from a boss that didn't die? Maybe I don't pay enough attention but I don't recall it happening. If you can find a post of it happening before you might have a better case.

I don't disagree with it under these circumstances though, considering there is video evidence.

Unfortunately I don’t have a specific instance in mind, more so I came to this petition after talking with other clans and players on some 3rd party apps. I was always in comp clans back in the day, so stuff like that didn’t affect me as much so I don’t really recall when it happened, just that it did. If anyone here does remember if they could link the thread that would be op

Happened for a garanak before like 3-4y back, but it was directly though muldar i believe not a forum post

Yeah, that’s pretty much where I came down on this. A lot of talk of “precedent” from the OP, but this was never done as far as I can remember.

Not particularly against it either though.

It has happened before.

Sadly nothing will change. We had a petition with 45+ replies last week and guess what? Nothing changed
