Would it help to lock the target when you attack it, so the first person to attack it would be awarded the kill?
Thanks admin. While there are plenty of (for the lack of a better word) 'better' ideas out there on how to prevent ks's, this is probably one that can be done.
While it may help a little, this still wouldn't address the issue of a clan ammasing a big group to fight a boss and one level 140 just running past all those who got to the boss first, not grouping anyone, then when thier clan mates show up they only invite them.
That would allow even more bullying and prevention of mid levels completing quests.
That problem bieng shown, that method of
high level oppression would actually be lessened by admin's proposed new system. The reason is the 140 does a bunch of damage to the mob that would make that groups effort to retake the kill futile. But under the proposed system, this ammasing group could just hit it and stay alive and therefore prevent the high level kser from running in and stealing it.
All that said Admin, I think your idea would create a new and more fair dynamic for gameplay, and I wholeheartedly support first hit locks the mob!
