I made suggestion of a combined aggro/dps system with no lock at all, instead of the current dps system. This does not solve the monopoly problem, but really neither does the lock system.
Any comments on this alternative suggestion? It is posted above in this thread in detail.
Let's look at a real life scenario:
Dude A has a compound bow and arrow.
Dude B has a 30-06 rifle.
Dude C has a Ford F-350 Dually.
A deer is 200 yards away from these 3 guys all triangulated.
Dude A shoots and sticks the deer it starts to run. Dude B shoots and hits it's leg...
Dude C DEMOLISHES the deer traveling at a smooth 60mph.
Who gets the kill?
Implement something like this and make the game how it should be.
This lock system will allow me to take whole groups with a low alt and believe me I won't buy platinum to fund the little guy.
And guess what? They won't do the work because they can see that you would get the kill, unless they really like you lol.Yeah, I'll take a tank to falg, tap it first, pot up so I don't die while everyone does the work for me and guess who gets the drop? Me! Haha yay!
