because i am using meteoric dagger and have heroic gloves i am hitting very often- cloak destroys me
otherworld bosses have new DoT attacks which dont require hitting them- deluge, oppressive gaze
AoE attacks are a killer too
if there is no tank in the group (usually there hasnt been last while) i pull aggro instantly with my sneaky rend quickstrike assasinate all maxed...
Ah... Yes I am familiar with the DoTs and AoE's... Or rather becoming familiar with them. I have noticed that high dps rogues can survive some of these if: there is a tank who can maintain/regain aggro; two Druids, one for the tank and one for the group... Both should have strong breath. The group healer can also manage the buff/ward situation and be a hybrid druid. Nice if the tank healer is more dedicated. The group healer then jumps into tank healing if necessary.

Only really had this a few times, and some places none of it works because niether my tank not Druid are high enough yet... In fact there simply is often no tank around high enough and the boss is bola tanked.

yes *if* there is a tank, i have been finding myself increasingly doing bosses with my clan were our main tank isn't online and i pull aggro fast... or one of our sub tanks is on but doesnt have enough idols leaving me and my idols to whittle away at a boss dying constantly

i have also been doing quite a bit of freelance boss fighting recently- helping lower level clans with bosses in return for one drop of my choice (starspel spirehoof) or one of the weaker meteoric bosses

i also tend to group up with friends for the fairyland bosses

i go through 100+ idols in a week

2k hp is a must

Ha ha! The easy and horrific fix for this is to impose a Rez penalty on idols, making it necessary to moslty be able to survive a boss fight and recover from rezzes. While this would decrease idol sales somewhat , it would also make the Druid Rez meaningful. It will never happen and if it did there would be rioting in the streets, but it would fix the problem by forcing a different play style. People would find that if they wanted drops they would have to have balanced groups. There would be more tanks and Druids, because they would be necessary for drops. I would be inconvencied by it, but I would like it. Everyone else would hate it I imagine.

Currently I am dual leveling a tank and Druid. They are only 110 plus for the Tank and 100ish for the Druid. Then again I only started all these toons a couple weeks after the update... Late June early July or summin. I leveled all five classes into OW (80ish) in less time than it has taken to get the last 10+ levels on these two.

I like them, but it is slow. My rogue, Mage, ranger all 80-90 are much more fun in many ways tbh, but my clan does not really need straight dps... So I level the tank, as a tank, so he can go do boss fights while leveling. Same with the Druid, as a healer. I go play with my rogue when the grindless minding becomes too much.

Lol... I suppose at least this prepares me for what I hear is the crawling pace of post 120 leveling.
