So heres the thing.. Our clan and I'm sure many others, are already over-run with orbs, meaning we don't need any extra. However, the problem is...OK we will sort this out for the next patch, we will change it to this: harder 6 star bosses will always drops 2 crests, 2 orbs, 1 ring. Easier 6 star bosses will always drop 1 crest, 1 orb, 1 ring. The placeholders will remain the same so if you do need spare banes, consumables or orbs you can just get them from there.
This way everyone is guaranteed crests and orbs each time a 6 star boss is killed, but the world won't be overrun with 100's of orbs or consumables that nobody wants.
New clans and new people taking bosses that don't already have a stash of orbs are going to struggle. You effectively need 2-5 orbs per crest for each crest. (4 for gloves, 9 for weapon). So really it should go up in orb drops per boss..
All-Seeing: 2 orb, 1 crest, 1ring
All-Knowing: 4 orb, 2 crest, 1ring
Swamp Lord: 2 orb, 1 crest, 1ring
Swamp King: 5 orb, 2crest, 1ring
Woodcrown: 3 orb, 1 crest, 1ring
Gnarlroot: 6 orb, 2 crest, 1ring
Chained King: 3 orb, 1 crest, 1ring
Chained Emporer: 7 orb, 2 crest, 1ring
Grommak: 4 orb, 1 crest, 1ring
Ragnok: 8 orb, 1 crest, 1ring
Pyrus: 4 orb, 1 crest, 1ring
Ignus: 9 orb, 2 crest, 1ring
This is the only way I see the crest:orb ratio staying equal for future purposes, and as previously said.. Maybe make orbs sellable to shop for 500-1k each.
I know it seems like the top harder bosses may drop too much.. (Ragnok and Ignus for example) but that's how many orbs are needed per crests.
