Hey guys, I am considering jailbreaking my iPad, mainly so I can have a screen recorder and get iap free for my offline games, so, what do u guys think? If u have or have had a jailbroken device, what are the pros and cons.
P.s. I will NOT be using the wall hack for CH

I had a friend who had a jailbroken device and then he lost all his data.

Yeah when u jailbreak u lose everything that's y u back it up on ur computer lol but anyway yeah u should well worth it just make sure u don't mess up

I tired to jail break my device to get a Screen recorder, but it kept saying I wasn't in "DFU" mode when I was. But meh...

Jail breaking may be worth it, but that over loosing your warranty? Think about it.

You need to understand exactly what yer doing.

Don't enter into it lightly. If you understand and understand how to download the new patches every time the iOS gets updated...if you know exactly how to maneuver a jail broke device, then I say go for it. Lots of good stuff to be had on a jail broken device.

That said, if you have no idea what I am talking about...for the love of god...don't do it.

don't make it tethered. Untethered is way better

Untethered is better.

Tethered means whenever you device turns off, you need to re connect your device to the compute and reboot it with the program you jail broke it on.

Untethered allows you to turn you device on and off freely without having to reboot with the program you used.

I'm like, a legend or something when it comes to jailbreaking idevices, hacking psp's, hacking wii's, hacking xboxes, hacking ps2's, etc etc..
