Mark all rare items as IMPORTANT (or some other marking) besides lux items, and prohibit them from a world transfer. If admin already said there will be no grand exchange, that it will only be server based, then this would fall in line with those plans. World transfer is a great idea and will reinvigorate the game because people can travel around, make new friends, and experience the depth of different worlds. Some worlds NEED to be more populated, and some need to be reduced. Perhaps there should be a cap for this issue. In my world there's only about 15-20 people over lvl 130. Things get really boring when there's only one group going around killing things most days. I have been playing this game almost since the beginning. I have a lvl 131 warrior and lvl 90 druid (2 devices). I find myself playing alone most days because there's just not enough people or things to do. Kinda just waiting for Guild Wars 2 to come out at this point, but hoping CH can restoke my interest. I would not mind supporting the game with $ to further train my druid but at this point I need motivation to do that. I'm sure many high lvls feel the same way. World transfer just might be the thing.

Scamming.

People who are complaining about scamming are not very intelligent... I have never been scammed in this game or any game for that matter. Why have I never been scammed? Because I'm not stupid.

I think scamming is great because it's the best way to learn a lesson. Yes it sucks for the person who got scammed, but who's fault is that? Their own! And guess what... I bet you they will never get scammed like that again.

Scamming is the easiest thing in the world. I could scam millions of gold and items from this game.
I could have scammed full dark flame.
I choose not to because I'm not an S head.

But seriously guys... Stop bringing up.. " we'll if that idea is implemented then it would open up more scamming "

I hope their are scammers... You know why? Its because it helps me to be more trusted by players.
I have payed out over 2 mill in items and gold when I was dicing. Scamming will happen, just learn to deal with it and get smarter.

Well you need to work on your interpreting skills because I'm already the in the top 10 richest players in the game and I have the potential to be the richest by a long shot once the grand exchange is released.
Not trying to be rude to you, but money is not my motive, I already have plenty.
Once again you're talking about money - you just proved his point :)
Plus, I'm sorry but the more this game can become like runescape the better off it will be.
Then why aren't you playing Runescape at the moment? Although you have said that you're picking the best parts of Runescape and applying it to Celtic Heroes, this sentence implies that it would be perfect once it is 100% Runescape. You have to appreciate that this game is not Runescape. And no, I'm not ignorant: in what way do we become ignorant? Yes, Celtic Heroes does use similar features to Runescape but we can't overstep the line. :)
It makes 0 sence to me to not want more freedom... Maybe you guys just don't live in America and aren't used to freedom.
And America is more free than where I live? That made me smile. :P

Too much freedom can't be good for you; as you have said, you must select carefully what must have freedom and what must not.

And regarding your comment about scamming, it may be a good lesson to learn but what you are implying is that it's OK for people to breach the policies set out by One Thumb Mobile. Moreover, "it helps me to be more trusted" is quite a selfish remark to make.

Sorry to sound harsh, but after all, Voldemort is harsh.

3- you do not seem to see your own model of things, or even that you have a fixed model as far as I can tell. This is not personal to you and is a human condition. Wisdom, which I do not claim to have, is in part the process of becoming aware of this condition
You claim not to have wisdom but you accuse me of being power and fame hungry.

I used to be in charge of 1200+ people.... Power... Been there done that..
As for fame... I'm already the most famous player in this game. I go to different worlds all the time and countless people come up to me and tell me they are a fan of mine.. I'll post some screen shots later if you don't believe me.

So none of the 3 things that you say are my motives are actually my motives..

My number 1 motive is to improve this game and make it more enjoyable not only for myself but for the current and future players.

This isn't about me though... This is about the game, and free server switching combined with a grand exchange system that's tied into all servers would be one of the best moves CH could make.

By the OPs own logic he could do with a bit of harshness. You know, in order to learn and all. Not the best model of learning according to educational research, but a popular one nonetheless.

Your not reading my posts correctly, I said I have plenty of money and it's not my motive.

I'll admit that it was a selfish remark to say ill be more trusted. But not only will I be more trusted, tons and tons of other honest players will be more trusted.

And how is too much freedom a bad thing?

I like you and I like your strait forwardness

Does there seem to be any consistency to the sort of replies you are getting here?

The nature of a mental model, or paradigm is that we tend to delete or distort all information that might indicate any sort of flaw about our fundamental assumptions. Of course this means that there is nothing anyone can do to reveal such a paradigm to the holder. Usually, but not always this condition manifests in a few ways. One is the appearance of conflict. The other is the increased complexity of the initial paradigm in an attempt to keep the egoic aspect of that in tact.

The example of the shift between Ptolomaic and Copernican world views is an example of this.

I am not arguing with you. There is no point in that. I do not imagine you 'changing your mind'. I wil say, at the risk of offending you, that it is not necessary to argue with you since you continue to reinforce the simple observation I made.

Consider it this way. I made some observations about how you occur for me in this forum. I am not saying, and have not said you are some way or another. I don't know you at all. I am saying you occur a certain way. Looking at your various threads they almost all contain someone saying something like this, sometimes harshly perhaps. What does that mean? How might you realate to that? You might defend against any such comments, effectively dismissing them and the people who made them, thereby keeping intact your own view of yourself. You might also wonder why is it that you seem to occur for people in this way, particularly if that is not your intent. This dilemma is not unique to you, as I have mentioned.
