Just wondering if its not useless for a warrior?

Yes it is extremely useless for a warrior. The golden blade of ice adds hundreds of more damage however some people find energy to be a problem when using the golden blade of ice but there are ways around that.

Golden dagger of venom does poison damage that few enemies resist, plus physical (piercing) damage which is multiplied according to the warrior's melee and weapon proficiency.
In my case i find that such physical damage is multiplied by a factor of 6 when im equipped with a sword in my main hand, as i have maxed sword ability.
At the moment I use the offhend lux axe that has a damage of 17, which means my base damage is increased by 102 hp when i equip it.

Likewise, 20 piercing damage will turn into 120 hp piercing damage in my offhand when equipped.
Add the usually non-resisted poison damage and the 15 p per tick regen and rejuv (which added with heroic ammy means i dont need regen or rejuv charms or rings, and therefore can fill those slots with charms/rings that further increase damage), and this weapon is rather cool...

I'm definitely saving up for the golden dagger of venom.

The venom dagger could still be very useful for a warrior, it only seems much more helpful for a rogue because the poison damage stacks with poison weapon.

It really depends on your strength. The blades give a fixed 200 cold/fire/magic damage, but the +75 strength will also increase your weapon's damage as well as any physical dmg bracelets or bloodlust helm you have.

Just compare your damage rating with a venom dagger and the blade to see which is better. Warriors usually have slower weapons, the 20 poison damage is minimal (even though poison is almost unresistable), so it's not as good compared to rogues.

My use of the venue dagger is mainly for the energy regeneration, if I didn't have it I run out of energy way too quickly.

In this case I think the trident would be better as it also adds energy. 100 i think.

There are warriors in my world who are 120+ that use the venom dagger but it's their loss. The gilden blade of ice/magic/fire is much better! Te venom is onl good if you need more regen but lets face it, hp regen on a warrior has minimal benefits and energy regen can be dealt with easily without sacrificing your offhand slot.
