Druid Help

#1
So I read almost if not all of the threads in this section and it left me with a few questions for my first character in this game, a lvl 13 druid.

Mostly theyre about the skills, I quickly purchased nature's embrace because it was the most expensive, so it had to be the best... And now I've been putting a ton of points into it. Its above lvl 5 now, and getting hard to cast because of energy. So should I not be putting points into skills?

If I don't put points into it, I can cast it all the time, but its weak. When I do put points into it its worthwhile, but harder to cast. Is there a way to increase the regen rate of mana? Because currently as far as I can tell, you can just up your total amount, which is nice and all, but I'd much rather it regenerated faster.

What are your guys' thoughts? SHould I level these skills or what?

I suggest not to put skillpoints.
buy nature touch, strangling vines and lightning.
nature touch heals really good.

add attribute in vitaly and focus. and when you think its ok add a skill point to one of your skills. when your high lvl enough for deats caress you will get a quest were you get a book to reset skill points.

just focus on lvling for now.

ps. meditation is also a very good skill.

I agree with this. The easiest mistake to make is just because you have skill points doesnt mean you have to use them. I, personally, would slowly distribute your points as you level. Putting all your points in a skill right away makes the skill cost to much at lower levels.

If you only have the three skill slots then I would stick with the three he suggested. If you end up buying (spending real money) extra skill slots. I would buy roots also. It helps if you accidently aggro more than one mob.

Just be prepared, leveling a druid is a slow process, the slowest compared to all other classes.

Natures Embrace I wouldnt consider to be the best druid skill. Even maxed out at High lvls it doesnt seem to heal very much but is helpful. Also the amount healed is affected not only buy the skill points in the skill but also by your nature magic ability level.

Hey thanks you guys!

I'm gonna look forward for that quest, where is it started? And a few more things:

Having high focus would be nice and all, but after a while it'd become useless unless you are willing to wait for your whole mana to recharge. I mean it just ups the total right? Nothing to do with the recharge rate?

Also, quickcloud, you said to use those 3 skills (natures touch, vines, lightning), but then said natures embrace was the most useful. So which is it? Cause I can't use 4 at the moment :)

Thanks a lot guys

Meditate is the only skill answer to your energy problem. For real money you could buy sigils.
Lightning, vines and natures touch are the core of my build as well.

Don't forget stat poitns in dex. Tha way u can dodge attacks and also dodge so u can cast heals.
As a heaer you want high dex and mana.

Don't need tons of stght beacuse of spells and well tons of hp beacuse u can cast spells to up hp and also u should be dodging and healing.

Kosher. I have 5 dex and 5 str 100 vit and rest in focus.
when we fight i'm out of battle and I use meditation lvl 10.

i use abudance, shield of barks and nature embrace all lvl 10 on tank. now i spam nature touch when needed lvl 5.
If i do this right i can keep healing forever.

you dont need dex because when you heal your out of battle. yes you get interupted when its one on one. but you can still survive because you have a pretty high heal bar and you can heal urself.

I agree when in group u could put it all in mana. Dex is so u can go around and fight some to lvl if u have to.
It will also help if this game gets like others and u have spawns of a lot of little guys during boss fights

Why are you so obsessed with dex kosher? Seems that most people in this game don't find it too useful. Ranger is nice for dex because for some reason we have horrid hit rates...

This game is NOT other games. Why must you compare it and say "other games ALL do this, so this game HAS to be the SAME way". Broken thinking.
