A simple plan

#1
Elaborate plans generally tend to fail because there are too many details. The more details there are, the better the chance that one of them gets messed up. In order to calm things down a bit on Arawn, ive come up with a simple plan to do so.

Everyone needs to grow up. Simple as that.

The biggest excuse that i hear from people is that someone else started it. This is a matter of perception. Whenever someone tells a story about themselves they usually put themselves in the role of hero or martyr. Things get exaggerated based on a persons point of view and the role that they perceive themselves to take in the tale. This is also the kind of justification that a 5 year old would use. If you like a child and you shall be treated as a child.

Certain things that are done ig such as killing in arena or resetting bosses are allowed by game mechanics. If you have an issue with this being done, take it up with OTM. Take it up with the person who did this to you. Do not take it up with everyone possibly affiliated with the person who did this to you and try to blame your behaviour on someone else. If you retaliate against others who were not involved then you are just being an ass. Admit it. Take ownership. Dont be the 5 year old.

Some things are also allowed within the parameters of the game. Screwing with someone while they are lixing is one. This is nothing but bad behaviour. At some point someone spent rl money on various things ig. Wasting someone elses money is just wrong. Leave someone alone while they are on a lix.

The plan will make things better for everyone on the server if everyone can just follow through with it. If you dont think it applies to you then it probably does.
Beware the chickens, they are duplicitous.

Very true, ive been ksed on lix for no reason other than being a bada member, i never kill ppl questing in arena(sometimes bolas though). Plz if have a problem with me plz tell me so we can try to fix it. But in all reality this is just a game, so lets enjoy the game how it was made to enjoy :)

Let me insert the generic counterpoint to your argument. We all know its coming :P

I assure you that *clan a* does not engage in the behavior that you have just described. But in reality both *clan b* and *clan a* do it so that is why it happens. But actually it is just *clan b* doing this to *clan a* because *clan a* never does this. In fact, if this happens to *clan b* then it is probably just people in *clan b* making secret alts and doinvthis behavior to themselves, to make *clan a* look bad. I call on everyone to not do this behavior, because it makes Arawn look bad. *clan a* doesnt do this btw. Shame on *clan b*.

All very confusing and complex to me. I am bad. I behave badly. So I kill in arena and ks others lixing. Isn't that what a bad guy is supposed to do? And we have bad guys in both clan a and clan b. we make a choice of whether we want to be good or bad guy. Now it is my turn to be a bad guy having been a good guy for too long. This is just a game and we can decide if we want to be good or bad guy. No difference to those shouting vulgarities all the time or creating a level 1 alt every ten minutes to spam me and my clanmates with vulgar pm after resurg was set up except I dont do those kind of things.

Btw squid, you should tell that to your clanmates and put a stop to their bad behaviour. I learnt much from them how to be bad.

Thus the word 'everyone' has been used. I am neither referring to an isolated group inside of one clan, nor am I referring to just one clan. And excellent job, Goodies, providing the rebuttal which is going through the minds of everyone whom I am talking about.

Smells, while not necessarily the tactics that I use, I do appreciate you taking ownership of the role that you have chosen to play.

You see squid, I come to realise when you are too nice, people think they can stand on your head. And I take ownership of the bad guy role I am playing now.

Kinda goes with the whole 'it takes a village' saying. I have learned much bad behavior as well. It hasn't just been one clan that has taught me. Members from just about every clan have contributed to my education there.
