a famous chinese old saying, share to my friends in ch.

It's talking about that a man could only know his companions in a long journey/time. It's only Time that could prove a person's heart to friend.

I dont know how to well translate it. There r three versions:

A long road tests a horse's strength and a long time proves a man's heart

As a long road tests a horse's strength, so a long task proves the sincerity of a person

A long journey proves the stamina of a horse and the passage of time tells the true from the false of ppl's heart

Words r also easy to say.

But keeping the same good action in a long time is not easy.

Not the vain words(though it's also a kind of action), We all need time, hehehe
